“My friend and I were on time for our 12:45 resy and only the 2nd table in the upstairs river view room, but really didn't meet our actual server until it was time to present our bill. We saw her zoom past us, serving a number of tables outside and she waved to us that she'd be right in. The host and another steward took our orders and served them, even bringing an extra plate quickly when we asked for it. We noticed their outside dining area was full which was a surprise for a midweek lunch. No doubt DJ's hadn't expected it, either. The sandwiches and salads were excellent and I'm still a fan of Dowtown Joe's.“
