Had the Godzilla , it was good !
Yummy sumo dogs. Saw their advertisement on fb and since we came to Socal for the weekend, decided to go try it. And we loved it. Tastes so unique and yummy. Definitely will go back whenever I come to Socal again.
first time trying the dogs here- i got a vegan chicago dog and it’s excellent! the veggies are super fresh and crunchy and the dog has the perfect level of spice for me! i love a proper vegan/vegetarian hot dog and can’t wait to try the sumo, new york, and california dog!

Sumo Dog is a unique hotdog spot located inside the Oxbow marketplace, offering indoor and outdoor seating. The menu features Japanese inspired hotdogs with an Asian twist. The Sumo dog comes with wasabi relish, pickled peppers, not so spicy mayo, teriyaki sauce, furikake, minced onion and nori. The Miso katsu has a breaded and fried dog, miso mustard, overflowing coleslaw, tonkaysu sauce, mayo, furikake, and scallions. The Miso Fried Katsu Dog with tater tots on the side is a really great meal, with the miso flavoring just right and not overpowering the dog. The vegan Chicago dog is excellent, with super fresh and crunchy veggies and the perfect level of spice. The Chicago dog is amazing. The bon mi bacon dog is super tasty. The tater tots are nice and crispy crunchy tasty. Both are good but costs like $26 for 2 hotdogs. It's a must try for something new. Quick service and great presentation.
