Domaine Carneros Reviews
Great tour by Natalia in early Sept 2026. Wine was good as well. Would liked to have had a seated tasting rather than standing along a bar. We had a full day scheduled with a driver and was on a tight schedule. The tasting took up a lot of our time so we did not have time allotted for the gift shop. Was told that we could not stop by the next day to visit the gift shop - a bit strange and very disappointing.
Big fan of their Cab. Perfect tannings and fullness.
Beautiful views and a gorgeous building. We sat outside and enjoyed all of our tastings and snacks.

Domaine Carneros is a beautiful estate with a stunning vineyard setting. The winery offers a fun sword-sabering demonstration, and visitors often find the atmosphere sophisticated and European-like, with a lively ambiance that makes it a popular first stop for wine tasting in the region. The extensive wine selection ranges from excellent to exceptional, with the 2017 Le Reve Blane standing out. The staff is described as easygoing and welcoming, providing impeccable hospitality. The estate features a warm, inviting environment, especially indoors next to the fireplace. Visitors should be prepared for a more commercialized, touristy atmosphere, and it is suggested to reserve a tasting room in advance and visit late afternoon when it tends to be less crowded. The experience is enhanced by photo opportunities, and food options like the caviar flight and charcuterie board complement the tasting. The bubbly and various flights create a sensory and enjoyable experience for guests.
