Pasta Prego Reviews
Had the Dover sole, cooked to perfection with mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables which included french bread with spiced olive oil. Staff was very friendly, service was excellent
Nice little quite Italian restaurant. L. Food was great!!
It's a cozy, inviting restaurant. Our party ordered the Calbrese pizza as an appetizer, it was tasty, fresh and a great starter. Two of us had the cream of broccoli soup, which was creamy and delicious. For our entrees, there was the halibut over pasta, lamb shank and mushroom risotto, fettuccine, and chicken marsala. Pasta Prego is a well-liked Italian restaurant in Napa that offers a cozy and intimate dining experience. The restaurant has a nice mix of local residents and tourists, and it is often preferred by locals due to the easier parking and less crowded atmosphere during the week. The food is praised as great, with highlights such as the smoked salmon appetizer, capellini pasta, and Caesar salad. The kitchen staff prepares the dishes efficiently, and the service is described as excellent, with attentive servers ensuring a smooth dining experience.
Customers have recently enjoyed the fettuccine with chicken and prosciutto, which was very tasty and creamy. The salmon and mashed potatoes were also delicious, with the salmon slightly undercooked as some prefer. The fettuccine was described as heavenly, and the Baileys Irish cream cheesecake was wonderful as well. Customers also enjoyed the nice pasta and pizza, with the taste being awesome and the service superb. The complimentary bread and olive oil were also praised as tasty.
The owner, a very nice old man, is often seen walking through the restaurant, assisting the staff and thanking customers for visiting. The pork tenderloin is also very good, and customers recommend getting it with risotto instead of mashed potatoes. The halibut was a special for the night and was excellent. Pasta Prego is a popular choice for those seeking authentic Italian cuisine in a comfortable and welcoming setting.
