“I’m here in Napa celebrating my birthday and had a tasting booked, the week before my tasting I got a call and Stephanie apologized that they’d be closed for renovations but would reach out to a neighboring tasting room to see if they would hold our tasting which we agreed. We then heard from Scott who let us know the details of our tasting location right across the street. Upon arrival at Gambling McDuck Scott greeted us and our tasting began just before Erin stopped by our table to introduce herself as well. As a bubbles person the tasting did not disappoint as we told Scott we’d let him take the reigns of choosing our flight not only was the champagne amazing with getting to try a new champagne but I can’t say enough about how great Scott was we felt like we were just talking to an old friend while the next time I come to Napa I’ll try some different experiences I’ll definitely be back for BeBubbly!!“

Tim and Raymond were excellent hosts - taking the time to make the experience excellent for all, and the wines were delightful. “Was visiting downtown Napa during the Christmas Holiday season. They were having their annual Wanderland of Trees contest for the downtown businesses. As I was passing by Alpha Omega, I noticed their beautifully decorated Christmas tree sparkling in the afternoon sunlight. I was hoping they were entered in the contest, but unfortunately, they were not. I felt that I still wanted to give them and the decorator, Leslie Garcia, a special shout out for the magnificently decorated Christmas tree! Stunning!“

“Stopped here on a whim, the wife had seen this while driving by previously and thought it looked cute. We normally sit outside with our dog but they are very dog friendly so sat inside, light rain that day and it was a bit chilly. That said they do have a very nice patio with fire pits. They owners were really nice and accommodating, very knowledgeable on wine and there is a great selection. This is not your normal run of the mill Napa wine selection, there are wines from all over the world and some very interesting ones. The prices are pretty reasonable also. They do a blind tasting, wine by the glass or bottle. Definitely worth stopping by.“

It happened to be a quieter afternoon, but business was steady with a lot of locals stopping by- which I think says a lot about both the product and the service. We knew it was local business when Lauren, the Staff behind the counter knew so many by name! Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere! But let's talk food and drink: yup, the frose' is worthy of the hype. The strawberry was my favorite, but the frozen gin and tonic was really nice too- a really good balance of herbal and sweet, with a touch of mint. But I was really impressed that the bar stocked a Hendry Albarino- not usually available outside of the winery. Food was great too! My arugala salad was delicious as was my husband's roasted chicken sandwich on Model Bakery focaccia- yum! I'd suggest reservations as this is in the Oxbow Market which can get crowded.“

From the get go, Jonathan had an amazing personality, very kind, knowledge and overall a down to earth guy. He really made our first experience amazing and a great birthday. My boyfriend and I were so happy and immediately felt welcomed. Jonathon walked us through the different tasting options they offered. He did amazing explaining it and as well describing the wines. A beautiful atmosphere, lovely decore, I LOVED the MUSIC, and great wine. “In downtown Napa. They have $35 for tasting of 6 wines - 3 white/rose and 3 reds. If you purchase 3 bottles of wine, the $35 fee is waived. Very friendly owner and locals having a drink there are very friendly and helpful with suggestions for dinner in town and where to visit. Very relaxing environment and people can just hang out there to have some wine. Would recommend.“
“We stopped by Feast It Forward for a bottle of wine to enjoy. This was my first time here and I was really happy with the way this spot designed its interior and exterior area. This spot instantly gave me a warm and cozy vibe.Service was friendly. The worker gave us some recommendations to choose from and also told us which ones were sold out. “We visited Napa from Southern Oregon and dined here early, just before 5pm. My husband is a Korean War Veteran and I' a couple decades younger. He had his favorite: braised short ribs and I couldn't resist one of my top temptations: scallops (new diet be damned!). The food was wonderful and the young lady server was attentive and helpful without hovering. The maitre d', in honor of my husband's war service, arranged a special surprise for us to accompany a surprise dessert. The seating and layout worked well for us, as my man uses a transport wheelchair for distance but sits normally at the table--but he does need a nook or edge of the room for hearing. Napa Valley Bistro has it all; room for big gatherings, and romantic corners and service to die for.“

“My wife and I went to have lunch prior to seeing a performance at the Blue Note. Conveniently located two blocks away from the venue. Menu prices are slightly on the high side but comparable to downtown Napa. Great music, bathrooms were clean, no debris anywhere. The food was good, the waitress was great. However, the only downside is when we were packing up our leftover food to go. The busboy, instead of bringing boxes to the table for us to pack, he took our food and packed it in the kitchen. The problem was I left mashed potatoes on my plate with a piece of chicken. He threw away the potatoes and boxed the chicken. Needless to say, when I got home to eat my leftovers, I was angry the busboy tossed my potatoes. Will I patronize this restaurant again, definitely! Will I let anyone box up my leftovers...definitely NOT!“

Osha Thai incorporates many ingredients and recipes that you will not typically find at Thai restaurants on this side of the Pacific.At Osha, your palette is excited by a flurry of spices and tastes that you have never come across before. “Im a big sports fan so it was really cool they play sports on the tv. When the lakers game got to the fourth quarter they started playing the sound from the game. It was a very chill vibe and the host was very nice. The couches are extremely comfortable and it feels home-e. Th reason why i have it one less star because the wine wasn't that good and it was expensive. I'd rate the wine a 2/5 but because i like the sports vibe so much and the customer service was great that's what brought my rating up“

It is so complementary in your room.we ordered a charcuterie board but I was disappointed because I did not have the duck pate that was on the menu. the waiter politely try to find more duck pate somewhere in the hotel, but then was to be available to do so, he gave us a 15% discount our entire on our entire bill. Many other bar food options were available lovely place to stop by when you don't want to leave the property.“

“We arrived around 5pm after touring the Castello de Amorosa. To start we had the Shrimp and Pork Potstickers as well as the house smoked bone marrow. The potstickers were delicious. I'd definitely get those again. This was my first time having bone marrow so I didn't know what to expect but it was pretty good. For my entree I had the short smoked salmon. I've never had chard so well cooked. It was absolutely delicious alongside the salmon and potato purée. Our waiter was so personable and attentive. He even listened when we talked about my birthday a few days before and had ice cream brought to the table for dessert. This restaurant is definitely on my list for when I return to Napa.“

“Wow !! Our stay was excellent Francesca checked us in she was extremely pleasant and informative! As soon as we walked in they had complimentary glasses of champagne for all of their guest. Valet is free and you can come and go as you please but there is plenty of self parking spaces on the property as well. We stayed in one of there many Suites, It had a fully stocked kitchen plates, cups, coffee maker, blender, pots, pans utensils. Even the fridge was pre stocked with cold waters and ice and complimentary bottle of wine. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it in the morning! We had two connected balconies, with two separate entrances one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The bathroom had a separate bathing tub, a shower and was nicely separated from the toilet. Also there was a beautiful vanity to apply makeup and two separate sinks! This suite was absolutely beautiful with stunning views! The staff were all so friendly they even brought us cold water and chocolates in the evening. This hotel was extremely clean, everyone working was friendly and the entire experience was so special, I will definitely be staying here anytime I visit Napa in the future !“

“I recently dined at The Grove for the first time this past weekend, and I must commend our server, Betsy, for her exceptional service. Betsy demonstrated an impressive level of attentiveness by meticulously guiding my fiancé and me through the entirety of the menu, providing thorough descriptions of each dish. Her detailed explanations almost allowed us to savor the flavors before even tasting the food. To start our meal, we followed Betsy's recommendation and indulged in the Honeynut Squash Zeppole, delicately coated in powdered sugar, which I would rate 8 out of 10. The dish offered a perfect balance of sweetness, complementing the latte I ordered. Meanwhile, my fiancé opted for the Tomato-Baked Eggs with sautéed garden brassicas and grilled focaccia toast, also earning an 8 out of 10. She particularly enjoyed the dish, although she prefers her egg yolk to be more runny. Additionally, she savored the Brown Sugared Bacon-Style Guanciale (9/10) and Fried Potatoes with Chili Oil and Garlic Aioli (10/10), both of which she found exceptionally delicious. For my main course, I selected the Truffled Egg Scramble with Fried Potatoes, Brown Sugar Bacon-Style Guanciale, and Chives, which I would rate 8 out of 10. This dish proved to be a solid brunch option, showcasing a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. Overall, while the food at The Grove was indeed enjoyable, it was the impeccable service provided by Betsy that truly elevated our dining experience. Her attentiveness, assistance, and clear communication greatly contributed to our overall satisfaction. Moreover, dining on a picturesque sunny day, with views of the charming outdoor garden, added to the ambiance of the occasion. “The Compline makes the best burger I’ve ever had, and their duck fat fries are divine. Truly, an exceptional dining experience. We split the burger and the spaghetti carbonara and a few glasses of wine and they were all excellent, as was our waiter Ivan, who was professional, knowledgeable and gracious. We even bought some beautiful bottles of wine (wine we had enjoyed so much with our meal), and they offered them at 50% discount! I really can’t recommend Compline enough, it knocked our socks off.P.S. We also ordered the Escarole salad with celery seed dressing and for me it was possibly the tastiest salad of all time.
