Compline was on point. We've been four times over many years. Last night was just as good as the first night. Waitstaff was friendly, and knowledgeable. Best gin & tonic! Fabulous menu selection! Great atmosphere...great! Highly recommend!
We had visited Compline's wine bar a few doors over, and were told about the restaurant. So, we had to make a reservation there immediately. We made it for later that evening, but discovered we were hungrier early. They joyfully accommodated our early seating request and we were delighted! The snacks/starters of the beef tartar, the crispy rock shrimp and the Kanpachi crudo were the perfect way for whet our appetites. The duck fat fries are exceptional, with a crisp texture and superior quality. The restaurant offers a wide selection of wines, including a 2020 La Cabotte Châteauneuf-du-Pape, which displays a lovely deep ruby-purple hue with pronounced notes of fresh plum, cherry, orange zest, and herbal spice.
