“Of all the Indian restaurants in the Bay Area that I tried, this restaurant has the best food imo. I discovered this place by chance on the way to Napa. After having a full meal, I ordered another meal for takeout because the food was so good. I've been here twice now. It's exceptionally good.“

“Stopped by recently on a hot summer day for some gelato. Talk about a perfect repast to beat the summer heat. I had hazelnut and mango, and the portions are very generous. I didn't ask, but I think they make the cones in-house. Anyway, strange combination, I know. The mango was immediately delicious but I think I messed up combining the two because when it came time for the hazelnut, I was too full to truly enjoy the depth of flavor. Next time, I'll get it to take home. I love the location, it's in one of my favorite areas of San Rafael with shopping, good food and entertainment in abundance. Haven't had the pizza yet, but I'm a New Yorker and we're picky about our slices!“

“I’m so glad we found this gem of a place in San Anselmo! My wife and I live in Brooklyn and come to the area every year to see family. This bar/ hang out spot is one of the most welcoming spaces in the area. The mid century / south west aesthetic instantly adds a coziness element. The staff are super kind, the drinks are so fresh and creative, and the pop up food was packed with flavor! Shout out for the space being very sensory friendly- large ceiling sound proof panels and wood on the walls to absorb noise. I will be back!“

“Really good pizza, amazing risotto, awesome caesar salad and kick ass Brussels sprouts.

First I went for the pizza and was really happy with it. Then I saw they have risotto and tried it. Then I saw they make their own pasta. Been there a couple of times and didn't even order the pizza and was completely satisfied. Last time there I tried the ravioli of the month which was really good.

It's definitely our regular pizza place now.

Service is hit or miss. Never bad.

On cold days it does get cold inside at times. Not the warmest place to go for dinner. Last time it was actually freezing inside and I felt like the AC was on when I was in the 40s outside. After about a half hour the heat seemed to have kicked in and it warmed up. That was weird. If you get cold easily bring a jacket to wear inside.

Update after a few visits over a year or so:
Tonight was spot on with everything. The monthly pizza was the best we've had so far. I love how they change up the risotto. It's good each time. I usually get the caesarlina salad which is delicious but since it was a cold day, I tried the minestrone. It was fantastic. I finally remembered to take pics this time.

There are a couple of new really good spots in San Rafael now that do legit Neapolitan pizza. Pizzalina shines with their crisp NY style crust.“

“Eclectic restaurant in the old part of Hamilton field. Inside and outside seating. Really good and fresh calamari, where you can actually taste the squid. Fish tacos are excellent, fresh fish perfectly cooked and good value. Shrimp tacos were also good. Fettuccine jambalaya had a well developed sauce with a good mix of proteins. Finished with a Snickers cheesecake and strawberry pavlova, both excellent. Service was good with very friendly staff. Only downside was the smell of the deep fat fryer, probably should have sat outside. Recommended and will return.“

The food was Fabulous - mine was a 'classic' "Crab Louie," with lots and lots of wonderful crab, and Tiramisu for dessert! Our servers were Alex and Francisco ("Francisco:))" who attended to our every need - even politely and notably giving extra time, as I was Determined to enjoy EVERY bite of my more than delicious, Crab Louie!! With a menu that is FULL of Classic Bay Area Seafood offerings, an Iconic setting and ambiance, and Incredible view of San Francisco Bay, Golden Gate Bridge and The City, I would change nothing about my visit! “I don’t know why this place has less than 4 stars? We sat outside and ate lunch here after an 8 mile hike from Mill Valley and the food was really good. I had a Benedict #2 with shrimps and crab and a root vegetable hash. Great stuff! They also have a coffee kiosk/bakery and a more casual menu for take out.“
