“Holy cheese the food is incredible and worth every freaking penny. You need a reservation, which we didn't know but the staff made space for my family. The teens loved the food too. Out of this world BBQ and this is coming from someone who travels to Texas, the south, and eastern Oregon a lot. The staff were amazing! “My wife and I went to have lunch prior to seeing a performance at the Blue Note. Conveniently located two blocks away from the venue. Menu prices are slightly on the high side but comparable to downtown Napa. Great music, bathrooms were clean, no debris anywhere. The food was good, the waitress was great. However, the only downside is when we were packing up our leftover food to go. The busboy, instead of bringing boxes to the table for us to pack, he took our food and packed it in the kitchen. The problem was I left mashed potatoes on my plate with a piece of chicken. He threw away the potatoes and boxed the chicken. Needless to say, when I got home to eat my leftovers, I was angry the busboy tossed my potatoes. Will I patronize this restaurant again, definitely! Will I let anyone box up my leftovers...definitely NOT!“

“I can only speak for my experience.... BUT! what an experience it was! I ordered through grubhub delivery, and promptly received my order: the 3 soft shell fish tacos as well as the truffle tater tots. THE TRUFFLE TOTS ARE LIFE CHANGING!!! and the fish tacos were the perfect balance of textures and flavors. the crunch of the battered fish and the cabbage, the acidity from the lemon, and the creamy aioli goodness. 10/10 recommend!!!“
“Place is a ten out of ten Food Is amazing. Just make sure you get there before three cause that's when they close... On any given day, this place is packed. Go early enough, you'll be able to be there and enjoy the atmosphere with not so much people. But as the day goes on, it does Get full. Just know you have to love barbecue. Cause this place is original BBQ..“
“Been going here for about a year now and while I love the flavors, the ordering and overall customer service, albeit a limited frills place, leave something to be desired. Maybe we caught you on a frustrating day, but you didn't have biscuits that day, and I love me some biscuits. You need to be more accommodating when a pretty big shift like that occurs.“
“Basically a Garden of Eden... but better, because this garden has Fried Chicken instead of fruit. Tucked behind "ad hoc," is a gravel path that leads into "addendum" -- admittedly thought it was going to be more hype than anything given the attributions, location, and the ubiquitous category it specialized in... but it turned out to be the most impressively delicious fried chicken ever. Frankly I didn't know fried chicken could be so good -- it wasn't greasy, the inside which was juicy and extremely balanced and seasoned through-and-through, the outside was perfectly crunchy with a good consistency, and the finishing touches of salt and rosemary. The side items faded into the background, including the understandably pricey added-on caviar item that didn't really add to the experience headlined by the fried chicken... although the champagne (that comes with the caviar) did work well with fried chicken. Deceivingly casual, besides the location, the entire no frills service format involving ordering out of one shack, picking up at another (bigger) shack, and self seating at basic picnic tables... great for any kind of party whether single travelers to families.“

I had to take back to work, but man would I have loved to have eaten on-site. I ordered the two-burn with a side of slaw. Such a different take to the coleslaw! Very flavorful fried chicken! “I have been coming here ever since I was a kid. 28+ years later and it's still amazing! Guacamole, Bacon & Cheddar burger or the Tri Tip dinner is my favorite. I moved to Texas 12 years ago, but I try to hit Red Rock whenever I'm in town. BEST BURGERS IN THE WORLD!!!! I also feel they have the best Tri Tip I have ever had. And don't forget about their incredible BBQ sauce. My family has even sent it to me because it is just my type. Love it! Service is always great. Back when I was a regular, they were always friendly, always remembered me, and always knew my order..."are you having the burger today or the tri tip?" You can't beat service like that! The place is a cool little restaurant that has a real home feel to it. Great decor and a cute collection of salt & pepper shakers that I'm happy to see they still take seriously. Over the years I have had great meals and great memories here. Kinda holds a special place for me. Add the great food and great service, and it's an all around great place. The other location is good too, but the Lincoln location is my favorite.“
