“We used Black Bean BBQ Catering for a Super Bowl party at our house. The owners were friendly, attentive to my needs , and easy to deal with. The food was reasonably priced and ready at the time promised. Literally, every single guest asked where we got the food. The main dishes ( brisket , ribs, chicken ) were cooked perfectly and delicious. ( especially the brisket , my personal favorite ). The side dishes ( beans , Mac and cheese, and salad ) were all very tasty. I will definitely be using them again. I highly recommend them for your catering needs.Dave and Nicole Hamilton“
“Ate at this restaurant while visiting a friend. First time ever going. The lines were incredibly long and very slow to move. However, the staff were extremely professional and nice when it did come to be your turn. They make the food right there on site outside on grills which makes it so inviting. There's alcohol that you can purchase inside or individual sides with your meal. There's outdoor seating however, there were bees around us when we were eating. I understand that when you have food outside this is going to be a risk. There was plenty of parking, handicap parking, the property is handicap accessible, and there are bathrooms located on the premises. I would absolutely recommend for a visit!“
“Passing through Petaluma and hungry, my mind hit on Lombardi's. I haven't lived in Sonoma county since the early 90's and I wondered if they were still there. Thankfully located in the same location, you pull in and the bbq grills out front are billowing smoke. Lots of parking. Once inside the place is bright and clean. I ordered the tri tip sandwich and waited with anticipation. I got my sandwich and found a table outside, on the deck. Opened up my sandwich to tons of thinly sliced grilled tri tip mixed with bbq sauce. A creamy horseradish sauce, red onions and tomatoes. The bread was a soft interior with a crispy exterior. The sandwich was as good as I remember. I was so glad I came here.“
“Excellent Hot Pot Broth is deeply flavored and so delicious. Spicy is my favorite, but be careful as it's no joke. I love spicy food and even medium spice pushes me to my limit. There are numerous choices to pair with the broth - mushrooms are a must-have - that are all very fresh. Seriously, the food is so fresh and delicious. The portions are generous as well, so don't order too much like I tend to do. You can always order a little more. Also, the roast duck is intensely decadent and completely worth the price. Half of a duck is good for 3 or even 4 people. Our bill recently for 3 people with drinks was $110 and we were overstuffed and completely satisfied. We got half of a duck, 3 pots of broth, and 1 order each of: beef, pork belly, shiitake, seafood mushroom, daikon, broccoli, and rice noodles. Well worth the price for delicious food. Even if the service was a little slow.“
“This is a modest store-front restaurant in a shopping center that doesn't look like much, but the food is fantastic. I had the Green Bean Chicken and the beans were al-dente, the meat perfectly grilled, and the sauce was savory and garlicky- really, really good. My husband had the combo Chicken Katsu and bbq chicken plate, and the katsu was perfect and crunchy. The servings are generous and we have enough leftovers for another meal. Service is friendly. You may have to wait to get your meal, but the wait is worth it.“

“Awesome, awesome place to patron. The vibes and energy were all the way up, and this was on a rainy/cloudy day. A sundry of beers on tap, the wings were delicious. My only beef as it pertained to the food is they didn’t have regular yellow mustard (they did have dijon & wheat mustard). They have live music/bands playing with a ton of seats in and outdoor. This is a 5 out of 5 type of establishment. We loved it. And willing to drive 1 hour and 10 minutes to go back again.“
“Haven't been here for too long. Won't wait to go back. Food was delicious! Choices are daunting! Italian sausage and meat was spectacular! Even the Cole slaw has a bite! "Roy" does a great job at providing great fare and some killer entertainment. It's like a meal and a floor show. BTW, don't ask if he has any P Diddy in his play list!!“
