Charley's Wine Country Deli is one of the better lunch spots in Petaluma. It is a great secret spot, tap room, and deli with an excellent store for liquor related gifts. The menu offers a great selection of food, with roughly 20 already selected sandwich combos that are great too. Customers can order whatever they want on their sandwich. The staff is super friendly and helpful, patiently running through all the cheeses and veggies to make the perfect sandwich. They always have the best new beers from local breweries in the back room, plus plenty of local wines and many canned drink selections. The Reuben is top-notch, and the Brooklyn Bridge on the menu is as close as you can get to a real Italian Sub, best in town so far. The smoked Turkey sandwich was amazing. The place feels like home, with very good food and a very friendly atmosphere. It is bigger than before and now a full-service deli. This is the best stop in Petaluma.
