If you are going to any vineyards, make sure Shafer is on your list! This was our first winery experience of our trip and man did they set the bar high. Maria was FANTASTIC! She was friendly, personable, knowledgable and overall just amazing at her job. The property is insanely gorgeous, the tour was private, and the wine was AMAZING. We loved our time here and would highly reccomend!
Ok, ok…. A well known fact for many years that Shafer is a top tier wine producer, but, WHAT? Probably the best wine I’ve tasted in years, if not ever. We have a large basement wine cellar and this wine is going to take up a significant section of it! The nose on the wines we tasted were simply exquisite! Goose Bumps!
