“Fantesca Winery is the place to be! This is hands down our favorite winery in Napa Valley.

I surprised my now-wife with a visit here during our honeymoon, and coming back was a must. We first visited about three years ago, and we’ve been talking about the wine, the property, and the entire experience ever since.

What made this visit even more memorable was our host, Roman. He went above and beyond—driving us around the property, teaching us about Fantesca’s winemaking process, and keeping us laughing throughout the tasting. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and truly enjoys sharing the experience with his guests.

This winery holds a special place in our hearts. From the incredible wines to the stunning property and exceptional hospitality, Fantesca delivers on every level.

“Rombauer was an incredible addition to our April 2026 trip to Napa Valley. The property is massive and easily accommodates larger groups and special events. With stunning views and engaging tours, this venue was surely a highlight from our trip. The cave & barrel portion of the tour was our favorite!

Kevin R. was our host and he was FANTASTIC. He offered delicious accompaniments with our tasting from a local chocolatier. I'm still dreaming about them! We truly enjoyed him and hope you're lucky enough to have him host your tour, too!

It should come as no surprise that Rombauer wine is delicious and a staple to your wine collection. We were able to sample their sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, and a few reds, rounding out a wonderful tasting.

“We are on a road trip through CA and of course wanted to make a stop in Napa Valley and check out a vineyard. Though we stopped by the Napa Valley Welcome Center for recommendations they weren’t super helpful. I did use their QR code to find “kid friendly” vineyards. Some of these vineyards were not that kid friendly once we started looking into them and calling around. Tres Sabores however was VERY welcoming to us and our 9 year old. The vineyard was beautiful and so peaceful!! My husband and I enjoyed the tour with Dave and learned so much!! Julie the owner also came over and spoke with us for a bit! We tried 5 different wines and our daughter was provided organic juice boxes, bubbles and coloring supplies. We had snacks for the table that all of us enjoyed! After our tour and tastings we walked over to the barn area and played with the animals. Highly recommend Tres Sabores not only for families, but adults on their own too!! What a wonderful vineyard and great experience!!“

“Hall Wines was an experience beyond anything that I could have imagined. When we came to wine taste at Hall, our expectations were not set. I've been too many wineries in St Helena, but I've never been to Hall. The grounds were absolutely immaculate. The winery was stunningly, beautiful. Our server Alfredo Hernandez was knowledgeable, warm, friendly, inviting, and a superb host. I love talking about wanting and asking questions as I taste and both Alfredo and Tom were both a pleasure to engage with. We enjoyed absolutely everything in our experience. We enjoyed everything so much that I decided that after July of this year, I would like to switch my wine club over to Hall from another wine club that I have in Napa. Very much looking forward to our next visit!“

“Our best visit during our trip to Napa! We visited Domaine Carneros, B.Cellars, Davis Estates, Grgich, and Prager Port. We had a nice visit at all of those vineyards, but none of them came close to the hospitality, friendliness and generosity that Ryan Morales showed us during our tasting at Maxville. The wines were fantastic, as was meeting Cullen...a member of the wine making team. The entire visit was spot on from the minute we arrived, to the tour of the grounds, to the tasting. Exceptional, proud to be a club member at Maxville...can't wait until our next visit.“

“We come to Napa Valley and St. Helena regularly to go to Clif Family Winery, where we have been longtime members. This time we decided to venture out a bit and visit Markham Vineyards. What a great find!! Zoey, our server was amazing, and we experienced one of the most enjoyable and memorable wine tastings we’ve had in many years. Markham wines are delicious and the atmosphere is beautiful. Zoey customized our wine tasting experience and poured many wines she thought we’d enjoy. She also informed us about the history of Markham and gave us a tour of the facility, beautiful and fascinating. Overall, our experience at Markham was wonderful. I would highly recommend Markham when in the Napa Valley. I would recommend reservations. Enjoy 🍷“

“Wow what a beautiful location. Gorgeous views and landscape. Amazing mansion. Comfortable indoor but limited outdoor seating..Great gift shop and moat importantly amazing wine. Never been to Italy but feels like you've been after going to Inglenook! This Francis Ford Coppola owned vineyard is not only gorgeous it serves amazing wine. The wine representative assigned to us gave us not only details about the grapes and growing process and making of the wine but a history of the vineyard, the first owners, the Coppola's purchase of the vineyard, as well as details about the history of Napa as wine country in California and so much more. One note is the cheese board could use an upgrade. Other wineries we visited offer a variety of tasty treats to stimulate the palette and wine pairing experience such as sweets like homemade jam, some type of meat or pate to liven up the wine tastings and more than one cheese offering. Otherwise it was a perfect experience of sampling wine and learning about Napa in the backdrop of majestic Italianesque views.“

“This winery was under construction when we went and the experience was still so lovely. Our host was so amazing. We were the only ones there for most of the tasting. The wines were great. We could have stayed all day relaxing on the roof patio, drinking wine. I would like to go back.“

“What a beautiful peaceful serene experience. Very aesthetically pleasing, calming, inclusive (check out couple videos I attached). I’d say this place stand out from others, decide for yourself and make sure to check it out if you’re in the area.

I was very grateful for their fresh and delicious vegan option — mushroom tartine, which to me tasted like a generous perfect sourdough toast with warm freshly sautéed mixed mushrooms with a light hint of garlic bedded on almond ricotta and topped with thyme.

You can omit cheese and get a salad for a healthy plant-based meal. The freshly squeezed juice is the cherry on the top. My husband had a chocolate croissant but tomorrow we’ll order something else to try. People say Thor muffins and cinnamon rolls are great, coffee and other drinks.

You also can browse and buy some good and unique/quality gifts or souvenirs here to remind you about this place. I’ll come back here tomorrow for breakfast - we are here for a wedding, wish I could visit more often.

There are so many well-thought little details in eco-chis style with lots of plants, use of wood and stone, and other organic natural materials in neutral and earthy palette with lots of light. I’m not a designer but that’s how I felt. Thank you to owners and chef. Thank you for offering vegan options.

“V. Sattui was our first stop in the Napa Valley area to celebrate our engagement vacation. We went for the free 3 flight tasting since we were quite tired from our flight. Then we grabbed a bottle, glasses and some food from the market and sat outside to enjoy our time there. It was a great experience! The staff is welcoming and the picnic area is beautiful and scenic.“
