Gott's St. Helena is a great spot for a burger, especially for those who like theirs loaded up with extras like avocado, bacon, and grilled onions. The ahi tuna burger is a standout, and the Mexican street corn is also fantastic when on the menu. The fries are tasty, though some wish they came out a little hotter. Set up like an outdoor diner with many picnic tables under the trees, it is community style with no indoor seating. The line can be very long, but the food is worth the wait. The pokey tacos are amazing, and the garlic fries, cheese fries, and milkshakes are also popular. The burger is deliciously to spec with good meat, good cheese, soft bread, and fresh lettuce. For a roadside picnic spot, this is as good as it gets. The food is expensive but very good, though quality may be going down as they expand. Service is minimal, as you do everything yourself.
