It was like talking with an old friend, so easy we had a wonderful time and before we knew it 1.5 hours has passed. You can tell that he loves what he does and he happily explained how he got into the wine business and you could just see how much he loved what he did. He even gave us a tour of the facility as we drank wine. The wines, they were amazing we love Pinot and we loved them so much that we joined his wine club, which speaks for itself as I haven't belonged to a club in sometime. “I went to Acorn Cafe expecting a nice, responsible lunch. I left in a food coma, questioning every healthy choice I’ve ever made, and honestly? Zero regrets.
The place has serious range — breakfast, brunch, lunch, indoor seating, outdoor seating with an actual fireplace (fancy), and a friendly & professional staff.
I ordered the fried chicken sandwich against my better judgment — I usually treat deep-fried anything like a suspicious email attachment — and it was a full personality shift. Absolutely delicious. It came with homemade togarashi potato chips, which is not a combination I asked for but is one I will now demand for the rest of my life.
My dining companion got the breakfast burger, which somehow contains an egg AND hash browns INSIDE the burger, like the chef looked at breakfast and lunch and said “why not both, simultaneously, in your hand.” Perfection. Structurally impressive. Emotionally overwhelming.
The turkey clubhouse club also showed up and showed out — and bonus, some proceeds go to the local Boys & Girls Club, so you can feel slightly virtuous while inhaling bacon.

Verdict: We’re going back. We have breakfast entrees left to conquer, and frankly, I think Acorn Cafe has earned the right to ruin more of my meals.“

My son ordered the happy hour cheese quesadilla, which came out perfectly toasted—crispy golden edges, soft cheesy center. Basically a work of art Picasso wishes he painted. Then we shared the habanero wings, which came with a medley of tomatoes and sliced cucumbers so fancy it felt like they were auditioning for a cooking show. The dressing? Absolutely delicious. “Porter Creek Winery was such a peaceful gem and one of the highlights of our wine country trip. The team (Crystal) went above and beyond to accommodate us, even staying a little late so we could enjoy the experience — and we’re so grateful they did!

I just wanted a water and salsa and was looking the whole meal for an employee. made eye contact with our server and she ignored me 3 times, then brought our check and said you can pay whenever. not even how was the food. my husband had to get me my water as he fully finished his food while I was still trying to stall because I wanted salsa on my 25$ omelet. 😕“
