“I spent a lovely afternoon listening to live music, enjoying their Zin Master zinfandel, and loving the friendly and comfortable vibe. It is truly a family business, and the great flavor of the wine reflects the care they take in everything they do. It is a small and very comfortable tasting room. Customer service is top notch. I enjoyed the pesto, provolone and prosciutto panini. We spent a lot of time last summer going to wineries that our visitors chose. I wish I knew about Spicy Vines then! I'll be back soon. (They also make brandy and serve great beer for those in your group who aren't into wine.)“
“What could be better than an impromptu visit to our most favorite winery on a warm winter month day! We came loaded with a picnic basket of sandwiches and toys. We stayed till nearly closing time, just couldn't get enough of the sparkles. And the lovely, friendly Amista people are as beautiful as the landscape all around. For example: When a bowl of popcorn arrived , Harrisson, our 3 year old took a sampling and said 'but where are the spice over the popcorn?' It prompted a hurried trip back inside to oblige . Harrisson even said thank you. We love you all, Amista!“

“We definitely got the royal treatment. Ryan did our tasting & we got to learn so much about how the wines were made & about the winery itself. They put a lot of love into what they do. I've done two tastings with Bella and the wines are really nice. Our group of 6 all LOVED the Essence 2022. We tried Ten Acres Pinot Noir and a few different Zinfandel. All the wines were tasty. The whole party had such a great experience chatting with Ryan and learning about the process. Highly recommend visiting the winery. They are kid friendly too.“
“Portalupi offers a number of wines that diverge from most of what you'll find at the majority of wineries in northern Sonoma County. Starting with a Barbera-based sparkler (a little drier, please). After wading through a couple of decent dry whites (Arneis, Vermentino), and skipping some of the lighter reds, we moved on to some of the bolder offerings: Barbera, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo-- all winners. Dolinsek Pinot was a nice surprise; a departure from the rest of the (Italian) lineup. The host of our group of six was friendly, informative and engaging, with just the right balance between taking us through the flight and giving us space to socialize among ourselves and discuss the wines“

“We were looking to do something different today. On a whim our daughter suggested Breathless Wines as she has been here before with her friends. We are glad we came. Cherish was our server; she was wonderful. Being business owners ourselves, we know how important it is to have good people on your team. We also really liked the outdoor patio. “We found ourselves at this small, but beautiful winery because it was one of the free tasting options our hotel offered.The wines were lovely and exactly the experience you want.We were visiting Healdsburg end of December which is perfect for less crowded, intimate experience. We had the place to ourselves and could take our time. We did get a cheese board, but forgot to take a picture.Which is unfortunate because the cheeses are all from local artisan farmers. “Visiting from Boston and came to Sonoma for the day. We came to Bacchus landing. Montagne Russe is the best winery we’ve been to. Kevin Bersofsky is the wine maker and makes the best wine. If you like white, if you like red, come to this place. You’ll learn a lot, drink phenomenal wine, and leave in a better mood than you came in with. Love this place!!“
“The space previously occupied by Flying Goat Coffee is now taken over by Black Oak. The food offering is better, with several gluten free options. The espresso oat drinks have good micro-foam. We had an enjoyable stop over after lunch at Little Saint.“
“Very nice wines. They are known for their Chardonnay and Pinot noirs. There is a $25, $35 and $45 tasting. With the $25 you get 4 tastes and the $45 you get 6 tastes. What a nice place to hang out and sip wine. The interior is deco modern and it's walking distance to some restaurants in the heart of the downtown area.“
“After visiting several wineries in Sonoma County, I luckily found Kokomo. Although they don't have a chateau or a villa, they have my new favorite wines in all of Sonoma. Exceptional Chardonnay, Petite Sirah, Malbec, Cab, etc. I joined their wine club and have enjoyed several trips since, each with wonderful hosts, new wines and delightful memories.“
“We were so fortunate to have a tasting with Saini at the Timber Cove Resort. We met the owner and his wife and they were just the loveliest people you can imagine. This is a family run vineyard and the care and reverence that they have for wine making is what makes them shine. Their wines are named after family members, and we loved hearing the stories of how the wines were named. Our personal favorite (not just from this vineyard, but one of the best wines we've tasted in a while) was Angelo's Paint Brush - a beautiful red blend that was simply delicious. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a tasting experience with heart and soul.“
“Came here on a Tuesday around noon to try the "block stars" tasting flight. I ended up being the only customer till about 3 and had a great time getting to know Pam in the tasting room and learning more about the history of the vineyards! The wine was great (especially the sparkling pinot noir) and their location is perfect for sitting out on the back patio to enjoy the vineyards and mountains. Definitely a great stop!“

“Loved a unplanned stop here have purchased Siduri at home in Oregon & noticed the Willamette Valley connection. Their 1000 mile Pinot Noir tasting is fantastic ~ start with their Oregon vineyards & end with their Santa Barbara vineyards. They also have a Pinot blend tasting. Thanks to Tonya, lots of knowledge, information & opinion ~ all added to a nice visit & excellent wine. For having only Pinot Noir, the differences in side by side tasting is fantastic.“
“Stopped in for a quick tasting and to pick up a couple bottles of the Sav blanc. Ian was so helpful and gave us the exact right amount of information without pressuring us into wine clubs. We were in a hurry and didn’t intend to do a tasting but he gave us a couple samples and helped me select a couple bottles we hadn’t tried before. Dry creek has an amazing indoor and outdoor set up that I highly recommend if you’re in the area! Definitely suggest asking for Ian and having a glass of wine or tasting!“
