We were delighted that we could call and get a same-day tasting appointment for 3 people at Viszlay. Abby (it's her family's winery) sat right down with us and gave us an hour of quality time! She was full of information and so interesting. The tasting fee is $20 per person but we bought 3 bottles so she waived all but 1 tasting fee. We really liked the 5 wines we got to taste and glad to buy a few of them. Thanks for the good time Abby Viszlay!
What a great hidden gem. Probably some of the best tasting wine I've ever had. Had the pleasure of sitting down with the owner John who educated my group and I with wonderful info and spoiled us with a delicious tasting. It was amazing to see the barrels with all the delicious wine and seeing the grapes grow right in front of your eyes. We definitely added this to our "must return" list and are excited to do so. This is a hidden gem. If you live in the Bay Area, you must visit these smaller wineries that only make a few hundred cases each year. The wines are amazing and the surrounding area is so beautiful and peaceful away from the hustle bustle of tourists. The father daughter duo are great host!
