“I had not had such a good pizza in years! I am Italian and can honestly say that their Margherita is as good or better as any I ever had! I waited 28 years for this. We really needed it in West Sonoma county !“

“We came to Bricoleur Vineyards for a “Girls Gone Mild” bachelorette weekend, and while there are plenty of amazing wineries in the area, this one was everyone’s favorite.
The wine and food were absolutely top-notch (pro tip: order the Isla Rose Brut Rosé and the French fries, you won’t regret it!). What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was Anthony. He went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible visit, helping us explore different wines, answering all of our questions, and even sharing recommendations for the rest of our trip.
The grounds are breathtaking, with gorgeous views and a welcoming atmosphere that made us want to stay all day. Anthony made us feel less like visitors and more like family.
We’ll definitely be back with our families on future trips. If Bricoleur isn’t on your itinerary, you’re missing out!
P.S. Ask for Anthony, he’s fantastic and deserves a raise in our opinion!“

“My boyfriend had found this place as a recommendation for desert wines- wines that I prefer to drink. It had always been hard for me to find options at usual wineries as I feel most of them don’t carry desert wines, but luckily harvest moon winery did. The staff there were super friendly and educational on telling us all about their flight of desert wine they brought out for us, and we had a great time! I feel like I finally found a winery I feel like I can go to where I have more options to have wine wise. I will definitely be ordering a bottle soon! Thank you! 😊“
“We had such a lovely experience day tasting wine with the special food pairings. We will be adding this as necessary stop for our yearly gals vacation.“

“Small town atmosphere with huge wealth of knowledge and personality. Well worth a visit not to mention the ride out is incredible. Thanks Sue for the making us Ohioians feel at home.“
“Porter Creek Winery was such a peaceful gem and one of the highlights of our wine country trip. The team (Crystal) went above and beyond to accommodate us, even staying a little late so we could enjoy the experience — and we’re so grateful they did!
The setting was absolutely stunning — quiet, serene, and surrounded by natural beauty. It was the kind of view that makes you want to take a deep breath and stay a while. The wines were just as memorable, especially the Zinfandels — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.
To top it all off, we were greeted by Poppy, the sweetest dog who made the whole experience even more charming. Between the warm hospitality, the incredible wines, and the peaceful ambiance, it was the perfect way to wind down our day.
Highly recommend Porter Creek for anyone looking for a relaxing, intimate tasting experience with a personal touch.“

“The first time I visited Sonoma County, I remember thinking that anyone lucky enough to live here must have done something very right in life. The soft hills, endless vineyards, and golden light feel almost unreal — like stepping into one of those old Windows screensavers, except somehow even more beautiful in person.
What I love about places like Hook & Ladder Winery is that they don’t need to impress you with grand castles or luxury. Unlike Napa, there’s something quieter here. No elaborate stories, no need for extravagance — just good soil, good weather, and honest wine made with care.
The longer I spend in Sonoma, the more I understand that true abundance has little to do with what money can buy. It’s in the Mediterranean breeze across the vineyards, the richness of the earth, the way a glass of wine can slow down an afternoon, and the way nature gently reminds you what really matters.
After my husband passed away, much of the life we built together was taken from me. But one thing no one can take is the gratitude I feel for the love we shared and for the way he opened my eyes to places like this. He brought me here, and in some way, he taught me how to see beauty even after loss.
Love, like a good wine, doesn’t disappear with time. It lingers, deepens, and leaves something lasting in you.
So I keep moving forward — on my own now, but still grateful, still growing, and becoming the strong, independent woman he always believed I could be🙏“
“Stopped by on our way back to bodega Bay and had a wonderful experience with Susan. Had a great wine tasting and we ended up joining the wine club and picking up eight bottles while we were there. Very nice place and the service was wonderful.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Absolutely-Not-Normal Stars for The Hole in the Wall! Let me tell you… The Hole in the Wall didn’t just feed me. It spoke to my soul. I ordered three street tacos—chorizo, chicken, and steak—and that steak taco? Buddy… it tasted like someone grilled the most excellent steak known to mankind, whispered words of encouragement to it, motivated it to reach its full potential, then sliced it into bite-size greatness. The salsa inside? So good I considered taking it home and introducing it to my family. My son ordered the happy hour cheese quesadilla, which came out perfectly toasted—crispy golden edges, soft cheesy center. Basically a work of art Picasso wishes he painted. Then we shared the habanero wings, which came with a medley of tomatoes and sliced cucumbers so fancy it felt like they were auditioning for a cooking show. The dressing? Absolutely delicious. I briefly thought about drinking it like a tiny salad smoothie. I didn’t… but I thought about it. In conclusion: If you’re not eating at The Hole in the Wall, are you even living? 🌮🔥🍗“
“Such a great way to taste wines from all over our area. 2-ounce tastes are great. I enjoyed a couple of whites, then a flight of reds from DRNK for $25. Best tasting variety.“

“I entered the delightfully decorated entrance of the bakery or Boulangerie and was greeted friendly by an employee and then I saw the display case full of goodies and I chose a Croque Monsieur aka a big and delicious ham and cheese sandwich and I also chose a large piece of Quiche Lorraine and then I picked a Chocolate fillled Croissant and a small pastry of delicate bread stuffed with chocolate mousse and then it has a harder chocolate crust. It’s $3.00 and it’s delicious!! And that was to go so I went home and enjoyed by splitting them with 2 friends!“

“First of all, the place is gorgeous. Like wooded fairy garden aesthetic, with amazing things for sale. I waited in the gift shop as I was a little early for my table and found the most beautiful things! Cotton dish towels printed with animals and illustrative wildflowers. Ferns. Mushrooms. Aprons. Canvas bags. Journals. Really wonderful things Now onto the high tea- lovely. Just really great food, so many tea choices. I forced myself to finish everything, and I plan on going back to the counter to bring treats home also Loved coming up here. This is going to have to become a weekend treat for any time I'm celebrating, or need a heavy dose of whimsy and warm feminine energy Thank you ❤️“

“The absolute best pizza! Their crust has a perfect sourdough tang, and is crunchy and chewy. The toppings are creative and sourced from local farms and producers. “I loved my visit to Inman Family Wines—such a refreshing, authentic experience in the Russian River Valley. Kathleen Inman, a woman winemaker and founder of this woman-owned winery, is clearly doing something special.
The wines are high-quality Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and sparkling wines with an elegant, balanced, restrained, food-friendly, terroir-driven style—nothing overdone, just really beautiful, expressive wines. And the Grenache!
It’s a small production, sustainability-focused winery, and you can feel that care in everything. The tasting was personal and educational, not rushed or commercial at all—more authentic.
This is what wine tasting should feel like. I felt like I was in a lovely small village in France and I've found a true gem.“

“Amazing place to get a bite. I’ve had Spud’s for a few years now. Their clam chowder is the best I’ve ever had. I live 2 hours away, but make sure I get down to bodega bay every few months. The location is awesome, parking can be not great if it’s the weekend and it’s busy. It’s also great they have specials and locally caught seafood. If you haven’t heard of Spud’s then I’m sorry for ya. 10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone.“

“We went on a weekday before lunch hour. It was an impromptu side trip because we thought it was connected to the Martinelli sparkling cider brand. Boy, we were wrong! It turned out to be a good side trip though. We had a quiet wine tasting and enjoyed the quiet ambiance of the place. Martinelli has been in the area since 1880s and worth visiting.“

“There aren't many cider houses around, so we stopped by here to take a quick break from wine country.
Dave was incredibly friendly and walked us through a bunch of different ciders to try. The whole place has a great, mellow vibe that's perfect for just relaxing, and they have nice seating options both inside and outdoors.
Stop by to support a family business.“

“If you are a fan of sparkling wines, this winery is the perfect place for you! It’s also super family friendly and has a free winery tour with a complimentary wine tasting at the end. We did the 3 tastings for $15 and got one of our tasting fees waived by purchasing 3 bottles of Korbel wines. Our daughter loved running around the winery. All the workers are so lovely and friendly, treats you like family! We loved the sweet wines, like the moscato and the sweet rose. Can’t wait to try it with vanilla ice cream!!“

“I LOVE coming here! This is the ultimate dog-centric spot and truly a breath of fresh air. I’ve been bringing my dog, Atreus, here since he was 5 months old—he’s now 3 years old and it's his favorite place to see his people and doggie friends whether it's a charity support event, a regular weekday, or swinging by before the summer concert series.
It’s the perfect spot to grab a great glass of wine, hang out with dog-minded friends, and support an amazing women-owned and operated business. If you’re looking for a high-quality wine experience with a perfect 'doggie vibe,' you have to check it out. Highly recommend!“

“I am new to the area and exploring places to eat and hang out. I heard good things about this deli so I decided to check it out. As soon as you walk in it's a very fun, upscale, and friendly atmosphere. It would have been nice to hang out but I was working so I took my sandwich to go. The Vintner caught my eye so I ordered that. The woman at the register asked if I wanted to add avocado and I said of course 🥑. I took it back to my business along with an iced tea and OMG it was like a party in my mouth. The chicken salad was fresh and delicious, the Gorgonzola cheese give it a strong taste which I like, the spring mix was fresh and gave a great texture, and the sleeper of this whole sandwich is the grapes! The little pop of sweetness just makes the whole thing. It was a huge sandwich so I was just going to eat half but then I ate the other half 😄. I'll be back to get this one again and to try their other selections“
