“We have enjoyed spending time out at Wooden Valley winery! The staff at Wooden Valley truly care about their customers and take great care in serving and educating their clients. ?The wines we have enjoyed there are VERY GOOD. The atmosphere at the winery makes you feel like your family, we highly recommend becoming members as they have many perks for their members.?“
“This is great place—-a gem in old downtown Fairfield. Love the Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin music playing! Food is so delicious and such high quality! Give yourself a treat and come downtown and try this place!! Oh—and live music the second Sunday of the month. So perfect!!!“
“Every town needs an eclectic spot to grab a drink and to commune with friends and locals. Pioneer is warm, friendly, and weird in all the right ways. Tony and his happy band of regulars have turned this locale into a bohemian paradise celebrating local artists and supporting local entrepreneurs. Every day there's some sort of social club gathering ready to welcome you into their community. Your experience at pioneer is never the same twice, but every visit will have one thing in common, you'll leave happier than you arrived.“
“Remember when you could visit Napa or Sonoma without reservations, pay $15, and have the actual winemaker pour you a tasting? That experience is nearing extinction in those areas but lives on at the Suisun Valley Wine Co-op.Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon with friends and family with no reservation and were immediately helped out by the staff. The outdoor seating area was charming and decorated for the Halloween season. There is also indoor seating for those who prefer air conditioning on a hot day. Fah, the winemaker for Sunset Cellars, one of the three "microwineries" that share the tasting room, personally poured our wine and gave us in-depth insight into the varietals, the qualities of Suisun Valley wine, and the process of winemaking. It was harvest season so we even got to sample wine grapes right off the vine. The staff here exude a laid back but enthusiastic energy, it truly stands out among the generic tastings I've done at other places where you feel like people are just going through the motions, reading some tasting notes and moving onto the next customer. Highly recommend visiting for the friendly staff and the wine which is great value, whose quality was comparable to many of the $40 tastings I have done elsewhere.“
“I ordered the 14 ounce Ribeye and skipped the veggies to have room for the Pecan Pie Bread Pudding with ice cream. This was by far the best steak I have ate in years! Have to mention the awesome bread pudding! I loved every bite! Thank you!!“
“We were booked to do a holiday party at the Heretic. Adding Dj & photo booth service to party was easy working with the staff. The room was both spacious and clean. The food was definitely good. The bar staff was great to work with. We hope to be invited back soon.“
“We are locals and come here as often as we can. We had a great time on Saturday enjoying the fun ambiance after the veterans parade. The band was very good although a cover charge was a bit of a surprise but we paid it. It was our intent to have lunch and enjoy, and we did! The adjacent food truck has really stepped up his game, and I have to say everything I have ordered from him lately was excellent. Especially those perfectly seasoned fries !!! I highly recommend this has a great spot to taste some of the local wines and beer in a comfortable, beautiful setting and grab some food or snacks as well!!!“
“Thanks Jessica for refill my coffee! I told the story of my coffee and banana bread that I purchased at Vacaville location and that day was too windy and wind took away my bread! and I got sad ,I droped my coffee,,then I went home and called to ask if I can have refill ,the manager of vacaville location told me I have to come the same day not another day to refill!! I didn't like the way of her conversation,,after some days I went to this location ,she refilled a coffee for me,,,,this is the difference between 2 location ,thanks again with 2 different managment! thanks Jessica.“
“Best wine tasting within 20 miles of my house. Don't wanna go to Napa? Go here! I should preface most of the wines are sweeter than I like but that makes it PERFECT for newbie wine drinkers and enthusiasts who just like wine tasting and good service. I've been 3x and we're going again next month. You'll have to trust me on how beautiful the locations are my app hates me and uploading pix it's annoying haha. Trust me it's WAYYYYY worth it and the tasting packages are AMAZING! Perfect for dates, or going with friends.“
“How do I begin to explain how truly amazing this place is? We originally came in May 2023 when we were house hunting to move at the end of June. When we arrived we were met with inviting smiles and explanations of our options. We both decided to do the $25 tasting, which includes 8 total wines!! 4 at the Gardens and 4 at the Blue Victorian! After spending multiple hours meeting the employees and drinking the wine, it was an easy decision to join the wine club! The wine club is absolutely fantastic! $100 a month for two bottles of wine and daily tastings for you and 5 of your friends! This is just two of the amazing inclusions of this club!Fast forward a couple months and we are so glad we joined! Everyone treats you like part of the family and we love coming here almost on a weekly basis. Aside from being part of the family, you won't find better wine in The Valley! Would highly recommend stopping in whether for a taste or to stay awhile! Our favorite wine: La Salette! Our favorite people: EVERYONE (special shout out to: Megan, Jace, Kevin, Octavio, and Andrew)“
“This isn't a taproom, it's a tapHOME. Consistently fantastic in every way & they host a super fun game night on Wednesdays! They offer a wide selection of N/A options for sober friends, along with vegan and paleo bites, so everyone feels included <3“
