I love this coffee shop and the vibe but the hiurs honestly are very disappointing. It closes way to early for such a beautiful location with a park and a lake. Many people have been unhappy about the hours. If possible it should remain open till at least 10 pm. You would definitely get more traffic and business.

Today at Journey Coffee, I watched one of their baristas patiently help a woman with special needs count her change, choose exactly what she wanted, and make sure she felt heard and cared for. She never rushed her, she simply treated her with so much kindness and dignity.
Then I sat down and saw a quote from the owner about wanting to create a place where people feel loved, and I thought, That’s exactly what I just witnessed.

Journey Coffee Roaster & Specialty Sandwich Restaurant Shop in Fairfield, CA is a fantastic spot for studying, grabbing a coffee, or just taking a walk. The atmosphere is perfect for productivity, and the nearby lake offers stunning views. It’s also a great place to hang out with family and friends. It is a cool coffee place to hangout and a good area to wind down on a hot day. Usually get a chai latte with ice and overlook the lake. However, the hours have decreased to closing at 6 pm. Tasty food, but it is a busy spot. Tables are first come, first served. The kitchen closes at 1:30pm. Price is the PRICE; everything is overpriced but you’re really paying for the ambiance. Quiet for the most part, attracts all kinds of age groups. Indoor & outdoor seating area but the bathroom gets unsat fast. It is next to a public artificial lake. Some were disappointed to see they don’t offer recycling and compost.
