Super nice, friendly older man behind the counter helped me pick an item when I told him it was my first time visiting; ordered the Birria Taco plate.
Food came quickly. Rice and beans were very good. Tacos looked absolutely mouth watering, but unfortunately were boring. The cheese was excellent, as was the tortillas, but the Birria meat was almost flavorless and the cup of dipping sauce was basically onion water. Maybe those air force folks can't take any heat, but I would at least expect a strong Birria flavor.
I really wanted to love this place as much as the locals, but maybe I'm too spoiled.
I'll be back and try the carne asada. Everything else but the meat was very good.”

They have breadth of traditional Vietnamese food at a very reasonable price. From their aromatic pho to savory rice meals, every bite was made with the freshest ingredients and traditional recipes. Today, I was craving some South East Asian food. And minutes later I’m at Saigon Nho. Interior seats were spacious with relaxing atmosphere. I swiftly perused their menu, and ordered a Chicken Vermicelli with veggies (Bún gá núóng). And it was very flavorful, fresh and tasty. Probably better than those they serve in Los Angeles.

Staff (Tony) was attentive young lad. Prices were a huge bang for your bucks. Serving was abundant. Street parking was easy. Overall, Saigon Nho has authentic flavor and I highly recommend them.”

I’m Congolese so my spice level is very high but my young kids spice level isn’t as advanced as mine yet so the spice level option was perfect. The food was balanced, flavorful, and clearly made with love. My absolute favorite was the Fried tilapia & rice my daughter and I finished that one pretty fast. He seasoned it like a grandmother would so that should tell you what you need to know. Very kind guy and wonderful food. I will most definitely be a returning client. “My son (47) and I (78) went there today. It recently opened.No one there except an Indian woman and man. It is their place. Nothing is prepared until you order. The fish is very hot when delivered to your table. The fries are great and properly salted. The onion rings were a disappointment. The cold slaw was just cabbage with mayo. The portions are adequate. Soft drinks in a can. We like to go to small, family restaurants. We will not be going back to this one.”

We started off with the hot and sour soup, which was delicious, and I truly enjoyed the texture. It felt silky and the flavor was there. For our mains, we got salt & pepper pork chop, sweet and sour chicken, combo chow mein, Mongolian beef and sautéed broccoli. Everything was hot and fresh. The shrimp in the chow mein was tender, the chicken and pork chop dish both had a great crunch to it and the broccoli was perfectly cooked.
