Panda Express in Fairfield

“Great service today. Order got delayed and the nice workers got me a water and hooked up the meal with some egg rolls. They worked efficiently and handled the pressure of a busy dinner service well. The food here is always good but the service from the workers in the front today was very nice!“

“It’s been a long time since I have been to this Panda location. I used to come to this location more, but I don’t visit this part of town much anymore. In the past I have had decent service and their food seemed to always be good. Lots of people complain about it being Americanized Chinese food which it is, so you can’t compared it to authentic Chinese food. Service is decent, there are other Panda Express locations (such as the Vacaville location) which has crappy service. The flavors of their food at this location is consistent with other Panda Express. I came in around 11:15am on a Friday and they had just a small handful of customers. There was 1 person ahead of me and 1 person waiting for their order to complete. I wasn’t treated right away, but was eventually greeted a couple minutes later. It was pretty early in the day, so there was plenty of parking and the restaurant was still clean.

I only ordered a bowl, because I was not too hungry yet, but pricing looks like they are pushing for people to order more food. The bowl I ordered (chow mein w/ Beijing Beef) was $10.08 after tax and for a 2 item combo, it would be only $2 more which you get quite a bit more food and a much better deal. The portion size of my bowl could have been bigger, more beef, but most restaurants are cutting back on portion size.

Overall, I don’t really have anything negative to say about this Panda Express. I do like this location much better than the Vacaville location.“
