“I’ve been coming to Chicken Express for over 20+ years. They are known for their Mexican Rotisserie Chicken. You can order plates or family meals. What’s cool about this place is that you can get tortillas, salsas and Spanish rice with your chicken as well as more traditional sides such as coleslaw, garlic bread and potato salad.

I go the 12 pice family meal which came with choice of tortillas or garlic bread and 2 large sides (I got coleslaw and Spanish rice). The chicken was delicious like usual and the coleslaw tastes a lot like KFC’s coleslaw which I like. The garlic bread was a little soggy by the time I brought it home and could benefit from a little more seasoning. The Spanish rice also could be slightly more flavorful. They used to have a salsa bar where you can get your own salsa, but I did not see one and they did not include any in my togo which was disappointing (I did not realize until I got home).

They have a parking lot behind the restaurant with a decent amount of parking, but be aware of your surroundings (particularly as it gets dark) because it’s a little sketchy there due to some homeless hanging out there. This location is on the busy North Texas Street, so pulling out of the parking lot can take a bit if you need to make a left turn to go east on North Texas St.

If you want some delicious rotisserie chicken, this is the place to go. They have locations in Fairfield, Suisun and Vallejo. The least sketchy location would be at the Suisun location.“

“It's a brand new Popeyes that is open. It looks good and clean and the bathrooms are locked. The employees are friendly and service was fast. The food was good, but dry. I would definitely go back and try. The best part, they just accepted the EBT CARD.“

Took 10 mins or so for order to be served. Love that they have the option for regular and spicy chicken to be served 50/50 for a bucket option. Chicken was crispy, a little bit salty. Spicy chicken was not really that spicy. Mac n cheese was a bit soggy and too oily.“

“I love chicken express on North Texas and in North Texas because it’s close to my house and everyone there is very friendly or quiet but the one in Suisun they have a lot of originals there from when I first started going to chicken express A husband and wife that works there they’re very very very very very friendly. We have children the same age and so we always have good things to talk about. I just love them so much. The food was fresh tasting- oil was clean.
I can't believe the cost of a biscuit, 3 chicken tenders, and some coleslaw. I could have bought a nice petit filet for the cost of the meal.
Portion was large enough for me but it wouldn't feed a growing boy or adult male.“

“I prefer the Popeyes on the base at Travis. the one in Vacaville has always had my order wrong, so I gave up on them. the one on the base has always been right. I would put it at 5 star, but I'm not thrilled the price has increased with the times.“
