A classic that hasn't lost its shine! If you last came a decade ago, it's still just as good as you remember it. I wish some other local institutions were still standing. It's cool to bring a third generation here. Happily sending a bottle of Giugni Juice to a fellow fan who is determined to take it all the way to Hong Kong.
Been a lot of places, ate a lot of food. This is the best sandwich I've ever had so far.
Cool little deli on the main. Service was awesome. We will be back!

Guigni’s Deli is a classic little deli and a St Helena staple. The handmade sandwiches are always amazing, delicious, and fresh, though expensive. A popular order is a pastrami with wheat roll, sharp cheddar, mayonnaise, yellow mustard, lettuce, tomato, onions, and sprouts, with Guigni juice added. The Guigni juice is some of the best sandwich sauce of all time, and the onion bread and smoked Gouda cheese are also highly recommended. The deli has a wide variety of items, including drinks, chips, old-time candies, treats, and deviled eggs. The interior is delightfully sassy and uncouth with old school messy wall vibes. Expect to wait in line at least 5 minutes, or 15 minutes at lunchtime on a weekend. The staff is lovely and helpful, though some reviews note rude staff and extra charges for pickles.
