The Caesar salad is non-traditional in the best way. The variety and freshness of the greens really stood out. As a vegetarian, I initially hesitated when I saw what looked like bacon bits, but the owner kindly assured me they were seasoned breadcrumbs — such a creative and delicious touch.

I ordered the potato pizza, and my granddaughter chose the pepperoni. She devoured nearly the entire pizza in record time, so I think it’s safe to say she gives it five stars! My potato pizza was the bomb — bursting with flavor. The pickled peppers added the perfect tangy kick. Both pizzas had that wonderful thin, crispy crust that I absolutely love.

The service was friendly and attentive. While the pizzas are on the smaller side and perhaps a bit higher in price, the fresh, quality ingredients make it worthwhile.

I also appreciated seeing a Palestinian soda in the refrigerator case, with 50% of the proceeds going toward a Palestine support fund — a thoughtful and meaningful touch.

I’m especially looking forward to warm evenings when I can walk the half mile from my home and enjoy dinner on the patio. We’ll definitely be back!“

“I have been ordering from this specific Mountain Mike’s in Windsor since 2022. They simply make the best pizza. The dough is think and tasty and the toppings are plentiful. And their customer service is top notch, not that I have had to use it much.“

“Yesterday my family went to Mods for lunch. We love Mods because we all get what we want on our pizzas plus they have corn as a topping. So good. My daughter asked Raley our pizza maker if she could arrange the pepperoni in a smiley face. Raley kindly obliged. We appreciate her kindness our daughter is special needs and talks slowly. “We are always excited to try new restaurants during Restaurant Week. While we had been to CIBO Rustico a while ago, it felt like the right time to try again. Fortunately I had the foresight to make a reservation since the place was PACKED with happy people enjoying food & each other. Always a good sign! Anyway, we ordered the restaurant week special and a nice bottle of Carol Shelton Zinfandel. Our first course was a generous arugula salad. However, it was dressed(?) with a generous helping of warm prosciutto and balsamic dressing topped with with shaved parmigiano reggiano. Outstanding and we had to take some home. The next course was spinach ravioli in cream sauce. Again, very generous and outstanding! And again leftovers! Finally, pork spareribs braised in the house made red sauce. Each serving was two ribs but plenty after the previous abundance. Unfortunately there were none of those left over but the amount was perfect. The sauce had just a little bit of an edge and the ribs were fall off the bone perfect. The Shelton Zin made a great complement to this meal. We had sort of forgotten about CIBO in our rotation but, after that meal, it had to go back to the top of the lineup. Thanks guys!“
