“My husband and I have decided that Ty Caton Vineyards is one of our favorite vineyards ever. We had such a wonderful time there. We came here through the Platypus Tours. Paul was our wine guy and he was phenomenal. It was such a great experience and each wine was SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD. We ended up buying three bottles. Thank you Ty Caton!”

“What a great set up this little food truck has!!! One of the best carnitas tacos I’ve ever had. We really enjoyed sitting outside under the awning and enjoying this for lunch. I think it is also cool that they have indoor seating as well.

“While traveling from Santa Rosa to Sonoma, we took the scenic route and decided to stop at this gorgeous estate along the way. We were the first to arrive at 10:30 a.m. and, while initially judged for our early timing, we explained that we were on East Coast time, which earned us a pass. We were walk-ins without reservations.

It took a little time for the staff to warm up to us, but once they did, they were friendly and accommodating. It was an average wine tasting, served at the bar, with a mini lesson on the region’s microclimates and how they influenced the wines. Overall, it’s a pleasant stop if you’re in the area and looking to enjoy beautiful surroundings and a bit of wine education.”

“I think it is mandatory for a winery to have a lovely building and grounds. That said, the building here is very stylish and impressive. The wine is of course lovely and the customer service was excellent as well. Very much worth your time if you are wine tasting.”
