“A wine lover's dream! This review is LONG overdue. My husband and I have been coming here for years. Ty, his wine, and his tasting room, hold such a special place in our heart that "Ty Caton" was one of the names of our tables at our wedding.

For the two of us--who love red wine so much--the Tytanium, the specialty Cabernet Sauvignon series, and all the complexity and mastery of all the other reds in between, are unmatched.

Ty Caton is not a place where you go to have the "Wine Country Experience". There's no castle, no cave, and no turrets. Ty is like a secret. A charming tasting room that you probably wouldn't know it's there, unless you're looking for it ;)

We've loved the wonderful wine-pourers we've met. We miss George from the days past, but have still adored Jennifer previously, and the George of days present.

We will continue to enjoy drinking Ty's wine from afar when we are at home out-of-state, but will come visit Ty Caton whenever we're in the Napa-Sonoma area--forever. Until next time. Cheers!”

“We had so much fun with friends at this paired wine tasting. The executive chef was knowledgeable and fun, and he spent a great deal of time answering our questions and entertaining our little group. The food was paired well, and other than the chicken, I enjoyed every tapas course. We would definitely recommend this experience!”

Original review: My family and I became members today after an amazing first experience and tasting with Sonaya. I was the designated driver so I actually didn’t taste the wine, but everybody thoroughly enjoyed the wine, the ambiance, and most importantly the attentive and kind reception we received by everybody we spoke to. The lady welcoming folks with reservations in the K room was very friendly and helpful. Sonaya also did a wonderful job, providing us with the perfect, personalized wine tasting experience for those that were drinking. She also explained the benefits of membership and we decided that we want to make Kunde a part of our experience living in the Bay Area. We took home twelve wonderful bottles mixed between Rose, Syrah, and Meritage. We really look forward to experiencing our membership here and will update this post as we experience more.”

“In a nutshell; pretty neat vineyard, server/s was great, and some good cheeze.Usually only visit mansions of any kind for their great breakfast buffets, vineyard visits and Gatsby-esque parties and the Ledson Winery and Vineyards was a great experience overall. Did not arrive with the whole party at the time but we were still able to at least take a stroll of the vicinity for the time being. Once our whole party arrived , we were quickly seated and was greeted by our wonderful server. It would have been neat if you didn't have to get up from your seat to order more snacks and cheeses as you had to go to the store to procure them, still snacks and the cheeses were great. Overall rather pleasant experience and all the more as our two servers (one had to swap out to take calls), added to the overall enjoyment of the experience.”

“The chef provides free sample amuse bouche which is always tasty. One of my company was experiencing digestive issue and the server understood it and provided hot water with lemon & honey. That was a wonderful gesture and I appreciated it, The food was excellent as usual but the price increase over the years, which is probably inevitable, made the experience a bit less valuable. Yet. LaSalette is an excellent restaurant and I highly recommend it.”

“Hidden Gem inside a fitness center??. The Local is truly amazing bringing fresh and local ingredients together to make bomb Sandwiches! I have had a lot of sandwiches in my life and have had great NY City and Connecticut Deli Sandwiches which are great as well however the sandwiches we had today were phenomenal! I recommend getting the Gold Coast (My Favorite) or the Petaluma those are the ones we tried today. You can’t go wrong with any of those Sandwhiches? Gold Coast was the best Sandwhich I’ve ever had period?? so so good!!!! I appreciate all the love, effort and time put in to create these amazing tasty sandwiches! I will be back? “The garden-fresh vegetables and herbs are inimitable! I love bringing people here to catch a bit of sun and enjoy some of the vegetable share plates. The ambiance is here is gorgeous and unique and great for groups. Service can be a bit rough around the edges on weekends.

“My wife and I did The Grove Tasting and had Robert as our host. Highly recommend this tasting and Robert if he’s available.

The atmosphere outside is very unique but very chill and relaxed. They also have a wood fired pizza oven, which was a perfect complement to the red wines.

The wines themselves are incredible and the Generations taste is the perfect way to end the experience.

Finally, Robert is simply awesome. Very personable and knowledgeable. He was a lot of fun to have a conversation with, both about wine and about personal experiences.

This truly is a 5 star winery and is well worth a visit when in St. Helena.”

“Run…don’t walk…sprint like you’re in the Olympics going for gold in the 100m to this vineyard. This was an absolutely outstanding experience, one I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars. Brittney (apologies if I spelled your name wrong), was the absolute best and we had the most lovely time. Everyone there was so friendly, funny, and extremely intelligent and personable. The same day I went, I later recommended this vineyard to a woman I ran into at lunch if that gives you any indication to just how spectacular this vineyard is. The views? Breathtaking. The wine? To die for. They are a primarily red wine vineyard and my boyfriend and I are avid white wine drinkers…long story short, we left buying a bottle of reserve red wine. It was that amazing. They are very responsible with their pours meaning that if you plan to come to this vineyard, it is to experience outstanding wine and learn about the rich history of their vineyard (that has also been featured for many years at the White House and you can see the menus where their wine was featured). I could go on and on about this vineyard, but just go and experience it for yourself! Incredible experience and one I plan to do many times over for many a year. (Not many pictures because I was that engrossed in the experience if you needed more convincing.)”

Beignets (straight from New Orleans).I really appreciated the portions, and that they were willing to split the entrées between me and my partner without any hassle. The wine list is also above reproach. Great variety of Sonoma county and external wines.
