Based on the reviews, LaSalette Restaurant is a favorite place in Sonoma, just steps off the plaza with a nice outdoor setting. The food is quite unique with great quality ingredients. The wine list is pretty good and features many local wineries, and the staff is very friendly. Guests were impressed with the raw oysters, the Portuguese fisherman stew, and the Portuguese pot roast. The octopus appetizer was amazing, as was the seafood stew. The braised pork belly was the best thing all night, fork tender and delicious. The Feijoada and Fish casserole cake were flavorful. The catch of the day came with grilled corn and collard greens. The caramel dessert included flan, cheesecake, and caramel ice cream. The service was warm, friendly, attentive, and professional. Guests were welcomed with a complimentary amuse bouche and a petite complimentary dulce. The ambiance is wonderful and welcoming, and the restaurant is deserving of a spot in the Michelin Guide.
