“Sushi Tri is tremendously delicious and correctly priced. My only grievance is that when you get miso soup to go, they put it in a container that has a small hole in the lid and they do not double bag that container so by the time you get home most of the soup has sloshed into the bag that holds the full order. It’s very annoying. Otherwise, I adore Sushi Tri“
“Consistently excellent food - had not been to Masa's in some time, but WOW did they feed us well last night! My daughter is expecting and she felt a little sore throat, nothing that Udon at Masa's wouldn't cure. Efficient staff, fine food. When full, the place is a bit loud, but the fare is worth every penny.“
“I love this place because the atmosphere is lovely and either casual or can be treated as nicer if you’d like. But the real selling point for me is there vegetarian dragon roll. I live in oakland now and will drive out to Novato for this roll.“
“Incredible food and flavor. Very accommodating forwards GF diet and good service. We save this place for more special events because it's pricy but you definitely get what you pay for. The restaurant is a vibe not too loud it has a nice slightly casual elegance and a clean restroom. The beef tataki is a must order it's our favorite thing one the menu and when I go everyone orders their own beef tataki appetizer. Salmon sashimi melts in you mouth and anything they make scallops is delicious.“
“This place has a special kind of vibe. It’s not about flashy decor or a high-end atmosphere, but it’s definitely cozy and welcoming. The food is surprisingly good for what you pay. It’s not the kind that will make a food critic go crazy, but it has its wow moments. That said it rivals some of the best in the North Bay. The real deal here is how much care you can feel all around. They keep the menu interesting with new kinds of fish and sake, which is pretty cool for a place that’s been around for a while. The staff is great at explaining the menu and sorting out anything you need to make your meal just right. Oh, and a nice touch – the owner was at the door to wish us a good night when we left. Made us feel really taken care of.“
“My family and I came in to celebrate my niece's birthday. We had such a wonderful experience! We were seated as soon as we walked in and were able to order right away. We were impressed by the cleanliness, the ambiance, and the kind service. They even had a robot delivering our food to us. Besides the service and ambiance, the food was exceptional. The sashimi was so buttery and fresh, serving sizes were pretty big and overall prices were fair! My niece got a huge cup of green tea icecream for her birthday that was delicious. Another bonus is that they offer military discount! Overall, such a phenomenal dining experience and we will definitely be back!“
“I recently visited Oyama and tried their tonkotsu ramen, gyoza and dragon roll. While the food was delicious, I must admit that the service was not up to par. Once seated, I had to wait for an extended period before a server came to take my order. Despite the lackluster service, the food itself was exceptional. The ramen was flavorful and had a rich broth that was perfectly seasoned. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the toppings added a nice touch to the overall dish. It was evident that they put a lot of effort into creating a delicious bowl of ramen. While, the food at this restaurant was undeniably good, the subpar service left a sour taste in my mouth. It's a shame that the lack of attentiveness overshadowed the delicious ramen. I hope the restaurant takes steps to improve their service in the future, as it would greatly enhance the overall dining experience.“
“Everything was good with clearly the potential to be great. Maybe the best thing was they were extremely busy, but unfortunately that affected our service and food. They had lots of to go orders happening. Food was very good except we didn't really enjoy the baked scallop salmon. The people are very nice and welcoming. The space is very small, but makes it quite quaint if you like that. I will definitely go back for another experience!“
“Sakura sushi is honestly a great place to eat, but here’s the thing. The food is great but the service isn’t. Plus they don’t give you directions that you actually have to get up your self and order. I sat there for over a half n hour with my father, just for some tobiko nigiri. And it’s not an easy place to find, the location isn’t very pleasing. Theo overall review is four stars. Thank you.“
“The first Japanese restaurant I have eaten at outside Japan that has the emphasis on quality, attention to detail, and customer service that is expected there. Not all the dishes were fantastic, but the overall experience was excellent. I'll try some different things next time.“
