“Really outstanding local sushi place. The outside looks quite unassuming, but the inside decor vibe definitely makes up for the fact that it is in a strip mall.
My youngest son enjoys coming here, the sushi is fresh, fast, and delicious.
Today was a quick lunch, so I went with the California spicy roll, and a Sapporo beer to wash it down.
I don't have any real recommendations, everything has been good. To be honest, I enjoy the Nigiri tuna probably the most, which is crazy because I'm not raw fish guy. But this tuna is absolutely delicious.“

“This place is pure MAGIC! The owners are an absolute delight. Food to brag about. This is the happiest I’ve been eating out in years. What a hidden gem. I’m well traveled, dined at some of the best restaurants and the deliciousness that is coming out of this kitchen is absolutely on par with the best.“

“As bad as it sounds I didn’t want to write this review…. Part of me wanted to be selfish and keep this place under wraps! But real foodie girls aren’t gatekeeping in 2023 so here goes nothin…. This place is a hidden gem! Nestled in a shopping center between Motel 6, Dollar Tree and Jack in the Box who would have thought this unassuming Sushi joint would be serving the BEST sushi you or I will ever eat. The Pink Lady Roll is my absolute favorite. It has crab salad wrapped in salmon and topped with scallop and lemon. Melt in your mouth! Couldn’t get enough of this stuff. I always get the Geisha Roll as well. No rice roll with tuna, avocado, yellow tail, crab salad, wrapped in thinly sliced cucumber. DI-VINE! Their Takoyaki is always a hit, ALWAYS. The Ultimate Hamachi roll is an easy win for anyone that loves yellowtail. We always get their Miso Salmon special if it’s not sold out and it does not disappoint. The Hamachi wings were my son’s favorite this past visit. They are usually sold out but this time we managed to snag the last plate of them! I can’t say enough good things about the food and the service here! The place is super small so they are always packed. Sushiko rivals some of the fancier more well known spots I’ve visited in Northern California *cough* Kru *cough*. I drive 60 miles to eat here and don’t plan on stopping any time soon. The only thing that would make this place better is a larger location so we never run the risk of not getting a table :P.“
“Best Teriyaki chicken I ever had! Nice, friendly and professional staff.“

“Best sushi around. You could tell they put a lot of thought and effort into each roll to make it tasty and presentable. Not all-you-can-eat, but suprisingly not too expensive either. We were perfectly satisfied with what we ordered, and between two of us it cost around $84 whilst a dinner of two AYCE's at Paradise Sushi would be around $100 and much lower quality. Personally, I tried their Sebastopol, Stony Point, and Vegas rolls.“

“Such a great experience and they brought out a cheesecake for my daughter's birthday along with a sweet little keepsake. Came here for the first time last year and it was stellar each time!! Food is wonderful and beautiful presentation, along with amazing service from the staff. Robots are a cute add and if you are 4 people or less sit on the train side for food delivery. Will be back, thank you!“

“Came here based off recommendations from the Sonoma County Foodies group and was pleasantly surprised by the incredibly fresh, high quality seafood. All the items (a couple rolls and some sashimi, not pictured) we ordered were well seasoned and beautifully presented.“

“The first time I came here, it was almost by accident. A colleague brought me along, and I didn’t expect much — it was just one of their favorite sushi spots.
But after sitting down, I quickly realized this wasn’t just another restaurant. There’s a genuine warmth here that makes you relax without even noticing.
Later, I brought my husband here. Somehow, he and the owner became good friends. At the time, it was simply a place we enjoyed coming back to.
Two years ago, my husband passed away. That period of my life was one of the most difficult I’ve ever experienced. Many things I once believed were stable changed in a very short time, and I had to leave the home we had shared for eight years — it felt like everything was suddenly reset.
During that time, the owner showed me kindness and support that I will never forget. It wasn’t loud or dramatic, just quiet, genuine care — and it meant more than I can put into words.
Life since then has been about starting over, learning again, and adjusting to a completely different chapter. Looking back, this place quietly witnessed one of the hardest transitions in my life.
I came back again this year. The food still tastes the same — warm, comforting, familiar. But of course, the person sitting across from me is no longer the same.
Sometimes we don’t just come to a restaurant for food. We come for memories.
And if you’re ever feeling tired, or just need a place to sit down, have something warm, and slowly find your way back to yourself — I would truly recommend this place.
Please forgive the quality of these photos — they’re not perfect.
They were taken in a time when love was still right in front of me, warm and undeniable.
The camera may not have done them justice, but in my memory, every single dish remains unforgettable — because sometimes, what we’re really holding onto was never the food, but the moment, and the person across the table♥️“

“Haku Sushi is a popular mid priced sushi restaurant where you get fresh fish, well prepared rolls, and a wide menu that covers classic nigiri, creative specialty rolls, and hot dishes, with consistent quality and generous portions that make you feel like your money is well spent, while the service usually moves quickly and keeps things organized even during busy hours, making it a dependable spot for lunch or dinner, although the restaurant can feel crowded at peak times and the wait can stretch longer when the dining room is full.“

“Consistent great food, very nice and speedy service. We're never disappointed! If I had anything to complain about is it's always cold in there! I just started bringing something warmer just in case.“

“One of my favorite places to dine in or take out. The staff is super kind and I love visiting with them. Foods always great and a better price than most Thai places in the area.“

“I discovered Shige in February 2025 while heading down to Southern California and had to stop by again this November on my way back up. I’d been looking forward to eating here for the past couple of days while planning my trip—and even more so this morning!
The food is excellent, the atmosphere is small but cozy and inviting, and the service is top-notch. My waitress even remembered me—where I sat and my attitude! Shige made a great impression on me the first time, and an even better one now.
Highly recommend!“
