“Sushi was good! Wait staff was nice and helpful with our son. Crab Rangoon was more like spanikopita covered in sweet chili sauce (spinach and cheese and no apparent crab)?!? Super gross tbh. But we enjoyed everything else we got sushi-wise!“
“Recently I felt Sushi Hana had gone downhill. Just wasn't the same. The portions of the nigiri had gotten small. Well! That changed this week. We had a delicious take out meal. Everything was fresh and the nigiri was cut properly. Keep it up!“
“Very high rating japanese restaurant.Food quality is over expectations, the bento box is good enough to fill up your stomach, the shrimp is fresh.Service provided was also very nice, they help to answer what you need to know for the food to be ordered. The restaurant is very chill, it is really a nice place to gather after work. I really recommend visiting this restaurant if you want to try japanese food.“
“Hana did not disappoint, as we were recommended this place by multiple people. We ordered the chawanmushi, a variety of nigiri, spicy edamame, maitake, shumai, finished off with the cheesecake & black sesame icecream. Everything tasted fresh. Can’t wait to come back.“
“It would be cool if the boats were being utilized for food. The top part (a conveyor belt) was functional and some of our food came to the table on jt. Overall the food was okay in an area without many Japanese cuisine offerings. If I was around I'd come back, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come. Nice staff, OK service (we came during a busy time). Restaurant was clean.“
“Me and my girlfriend eat here whenever she comes down from Cincinnati, it’s one of her favorite spots to go. We love getting a bowl of tonkutsu ramen, with a plate of their delicious crispy shrimp and a crunchy roll. Thai tea is also a must get when you come in. Staff is really friendly and welcoming, always giving a smile whenever we come by. Wait times are appropriate for food, busy or not, and come out always hot and fresh. Cozy place with cool traditional japanese art and decor. Lady is always quick with order taking and guy serving the food always makes sure everything is going well. Only con is that there should be more in the serving, because it is too good to not have more of.“
“We discovered this restaurant via Yelp and gave it a try. We were greeted warmly upon entering and our orders were taken rather quickly. My friend & I shared the veggie Drunken Noodles which were excellent- fresh veggies, nice flavor and tender noodles. We also had the edamame which was good. Our server was loquacious & friendly. We definitely will return here again.“
“Best sushi in Santa Rosa! We always get fast and friendly service. The sushi is made with fresh ingredients and you can definitely taste the difference. We appreciate they don't smother all the rolls with a bunch of sauce like other sushi restaurants. The ingredients are always fresh and clean . We pick up all the time and we've never been disappointed. I have two young picky eaters and they love Kamura! They won't eat sushi from anywhere else ( I've tried) ...but they gobble this stuff down quick! This is our favorite restaurant.“
“A nice hole in the wall find that tells you immediately good service and good food are the norm in this place. The sushi was fresh and the appetizers on point. Eric, our server was excellent with our questions and the price was reasonable. What’s not to like?We will be backParking: Strip mall“
“I was doing some late night shopping and needed a good last min meal for my family. I opted for quick sushi not expecting too much, but boy was I blown away. The freshness and quality of the food was off the charts. I was so pleased by what I received, especially for the PRICE!The owner was extremely nice and welcoming. She made a great impression on my family and we are now big fans and have since gone back.I would highly recommend this hidden gem.“
“We wanted to try a new sushi place, this is going to be our new favorite! We tried the gyoza, Dragon Roll, Hamachi Lovers roll, and the Tropical Dream roll. Everything was delicious and very fresh (which is saying something since we went towards closing time on a Monday night). The service was very friendly and the prices were very reasonable. Great spot for date night!“
“One of our regular spots. Kids love it, they have Ramume glass ball drinks. Good sake. I always get the Spicy Korean Poke Bowl (it is not too spicy), can never go wrong with that. Side salad has great dressing and is very fresh. Kind, amazing owner. Will be back soon!Tried the Baked Scallops last time, and the flavor was out of this world. Definitely a must.“
“Really good sushi, fresh fish, veteran sushi chef Gilbert takes great care of his customers at the sushi bar. As far as menu pricing goes, Makizushi lands on the affordable side of the sushi spectrum. New owner is a young entrepreneur, doing a great job!“
“Thank you to all of the reviewers, we also loved this delicious, clean, friendly restaurant! Everything was super fresh, delicious and carefully presented, plenty of food. Hot food was piping hot and Chirashi Bowl was full of fresh, nice & cold sashimi. Just an FYI; the Korean vegetable pancake while delicious is a bit greasy and tea very flavorless (pass on tea). Restaurant, tables, seats, all plates and cups were modern and super clean! The restaurant has large flat screens on each wall to watch sports (golf/soccer were on 02.13.24).Thank you so much!!!Photos;-Chirashi Bowl-Korean Vegetable Pancake-2 Item Bento (Tonkatsu & Tempura)“
“Tiny little place. Slight look of horror when asking for a table of 6. But while a bit tight the service is second only to the quality of the food. Which may be some of the best in SR. Should note I had Korean BBQ not the sushi but I definitely have made this a special occasion destination.Parking: Super cheap garage right across the street. Maybe 1.25 for the time I was there.“
“This place never fails us...we've been going here for almost 5 years since we moved here and nothing beats it...I love that the price is proper for what you get, freshness is top notch, presentation is always perfect and the staff are always happy and helpful. This is easily my favorite place to go on my lunch break and or when we go out as a family. This place is Worth it every time!“
“This is a gem of a restaurant. The host was welcoming, Otsuka lithographs compliment the walls, clean and inviting atmosphere. Food plated with artistry and flavor. Enjoyed the evening here. Surprise of the evening... very affordable. High value.“
“This is a review for lunch only, was in the area and walked around town and spotted Shige Sushi. Decided to give it a try, so glad I did. Was pleasantly surprised that this small little sushi restaurant served up a choice of wonderful lunch special's. Service was excellent food was delivered promptly and the food was awesome.“
“My family loves this place and comes here often. I love their iron tofu steak (w/o the bonito shavings) and yosai croquettes. Their sushi is good, but it’s not special. Their presentation is great though! I’ve been wanting to try their enoki mushrooms but each time I get there, they say they’re out of it for now. Some dishes are a hit or miss and is a bit pricey. Overall, it’s still pretty good.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options and their iron tofu steak (without bonito shavings) and potato croquettes are one of my fav items!“
“The food here is always fresh and hefty. I had the dinner all you can eat special. I was full. I wish I had more room in my tummy to fit more food during the time I was there. The service was good except for that other tables who ordered after us got their meals before we got ours. They have a restroom for the customers and metered parking is available when it is not during peak hours for the area. Thank you.Vegetarian options: There are definitely a few vegetarian dishes to choose from and are really delicious too!“
“This place is exceptional. The miso soup is usually an afterthought at many places, but it really shines here. We got a variety of rolls, including some daily specials (California roll topped with Eel was a stand out) and some standby rolls. The Carburetor roll, while not the most appetizing name is worth ordering. My favorite roll at any sushi restaurant is Salmon Skin, and this was probably the best I have had almost anywhere. Little bits of nicely seasoned belly meat and crispy skin were honestly the star and everyone at the table really liked it. The pink lady was the only roll that didn't rock me, but the quality of the tuna in there was undeniably good I had just never tried the soy wrap and I missed the seaweed flavor. All in all fantastic quality and price. Would recommend.Vegetarian options: Vegan rolls and specials abound with a few other options.Parking: Small on site lot, on street parking.Kid-friendliness: There were plenty of kids in there early. No kids menu, but they had some kid friendly rolls like fried chicken and veggie rolls.“
