“This place is exceptional. The miso soup is usually an afterthought at many places, but it really shines here. We got a variety of rolls, including some daily specials (California roll topped with Eel was a stand out) and some standby rolls. The Carburetor roll, while not the most appetizing name is worth ordering. My favorite roll at any sushi restaurant is Salmon Skin, and this was probably the best I have had almost anywhere. Little bits of nicely seasoned belly meat and crispy skin were honestly the star and everyone at the table really liked it. The pink lady was the only roll that didn't rock me, but the quality of the tuna in there was undeniably good I had just never tried the soy wrap and I missed the seaweed flavor. All in all fantastic quality and price. Would recommend.
Vegetarian options: Vegan rolls and specials abound with a few other options.
Parking: Small on site lot, on street parking.
Kid-friendliness: There were plenty of kids in there early. No kids menu, but they had some kid friendly rolls like fried chicken and veggie rolls.“

“My goodness, I love this place. My girlfriend and I would scrounge up money to come eat here every chance we could when we were broke college students. Now that we started working and my girlfriend became my wife, this place has become our go to date night special! I recommend the yellow curry ramen with egg if you like soups and the Santa Rosa roll if like sushi!“

“Quick stop for.some tacos to go for my daughter, the first time. Very expensive to my surprise. The name "El Roy" kinda made me hesitate to stop and buy food. I do not think I will be stopping again due to their prices but it appears they are doing well.
Wheelchair accessibility: Regular parking lot.“

“Was encouraged to check out O Sushi when passing through the area. While it is definitely not in a "fancy" location don't let that discourage you. Once inside the environment was great along with the food and service. If ever passing through the area again we would definitely check it out again!“

“Haku Sushi in Santa Rosa is an absolute gem, easily the best sushi spot in town and a go-to for anyone craving fresh, flavorful Japanese cuisine. The quality of the food here is exceptional—each dish is beautifully presented, with ingredients that taste incredibly fresh and vibrant. From the classic rolls to the more unique specialty creations, every bite is a delightful experience. Their sushi chefs clearly put a lot of care and skill into each dish, making this place a cut above the rest.
One of the standout perks of Haku Sushi is their 20% discount if you pay in cash. Not only does this add value to an already outstanding dining experience, but it’s also a thoughtful touch that makes eating out feel a bit more affordable, which is rare these days. It’s a bonus that just adds to the appeal of coming here regularly.
Service is also excellent. I’ve found that pick-up orders are ready super fast, making it ideal for those times when you need a quick, reliable takeout option. The staff is friendly, efficient, and always attentive to ensure you have a great experience, whether dining in or taking out.
The restaurant itself is spacious, with ample seating that accommodates both small and large groups comfortably. There’s a relaxed, inviting ambiance that makes it perfect for anything from a casual dinner with friends to a family gathering. And with Haku Sushi being open until midnight, it’s one of the few places around where you can enjoy quality sushi late into the evening—a huge plus for night owls or anyone with a late-night craving.
In a nutshell, Haku Sushi is everything you want in a sushi restaurant: top-notch food, friendly service, great atmosphere, and that unbeatable cash discount. If you’re in Santa Rosa and looking for amazing sushi, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend! They also are on the DoorDash platform for delivery options.“

“Delicious food. We came here for my son's birthday. My mom won't try sushi but did find a great meal (hot plate) that she liked. My son and I had 5 different rolls between us that were all very good. We also got a plate of tempura veggies that were crisp but not greasy and were very tasty. Also enjoyed the fun sake margaritas. Really refreshing.“

“We wanted to try a new sushi place, this is going to be our new favorite! We tried the gyoza, Dragon Roll, Hamachi Lovers roll, and the Tropical Dream roll. Everything was delicious and very fresh (which is saying something since we went towards closing time on a Monday night). The service was very friendly and the prices were very reasonable. Great spot for date night!“

“Best sushi anywhere in Sonoma County, super delicious menu, very friendly staff, the place has indoor and outdoor seating. Good for dine in and take-out. Family owned and Toki is so nice and welcoming. If you like great sushi and a great atmosphere, come here.
Like any place with excellent food, it can get busy at dinner time, usually no wait at lunch. I've been at least a dozen times and have never had any problems with service or wait times, so to the scrubs and losers giving 1 star reviews, might I suggest McDonald's ?.
My favorite appitizers: multiple Tempuras, Ika-maru(squid), Carpaccio.
My favorite rolls: Hamachi frito roll, Cotati roll, Osaka roll, Fire tornado roll, Shige roll, HotHot roll, Oahu roll, Dragon roll, Shiso roll, Godzilla roll, Dynamite roll.
Any of these will not disappoint.“

“i decided to go for sushi in honor of my cat sushi’s 17th birthday. Luckily for me, Hana is the closest sushi restaurant to where I live, beyond proximity the food is amazing.
Their ethos for sake is fascinating, their sushi is fresh and their specials are tantalizing. Vegan options aplenty.
Vegetarian options: Great vegan and vegetarian options
Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating“

“Great service, everyone working seems to be happy and enjoying their day? The rolls were and nigiri were delicious, and priced similar to most other sushi in the area. We loved our experience, I look forward to coming back and doing all you can eat when I have a few hours to hangout ? Fun sake flavors, decent pricing(less than other sushi places I’ve seen)
Keep up the good work Paradise!!
Parking: Parking is connected with big 5, a lot of spots!
Kid-friendliness: Kids and babies seem to be welcome and
embraced here, everyone was very polite and respectful. A place to come together and eat as a family?“

“What a fantastic meal. Hands down the best sushi in Sonoma County - one of the specials, Hawaiian Butter Fish (nigiri), was the absolute best single piece of fish I've ever had and it was excellently prepared with a gentle swipe of wasabi under the fish.y wife and I loved everything and our server suggested the Oshinko Maki after finding that we loved the Ume Shiso Maki.
This restaurant is worth every penny and the best place to find yourself on date night.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly, with lots of accessible Japanese food.
Wheelchair accessibility: Full-access to facility.“

“As bad as it sounds I didn’t want to write this review…. Part of me wanted to be selfish and keep this place under wraps! But real foodie girls aren’t gatekeeping in 2023 so here goes nothin…. This place is a hidden gem! Nestled in a shopping center between Motel 6, Dollar Tree and Jack in the Box who would have thought this unassuming Sushi joint would be serving the BEST sushi you or I will ever eat. The Pink Lady Roll is my absolute favorite. It has crab salad wrapped in salmon and topped with scallop and lemon. Melt in your mouth! Couldn’t get enough of this stuff. I always get the Geisha Roll as well. No rice roll with tuna, avocado, yellow tail, crab salad, wrapped in thinly sliced cucumber. DI-VINE! Their Takoyaki is always a hit, ALWAYS. The Ultimate Hamachi roll is an easy win for anyone that loves yellowtail. We always get their Miso Salmon special if it’s not sold out and it does not disappoint. The Hamachi wings were my son’s favorite this past visit. They are usually sold out but this time we managed to snag the last plate of them! I can’t say enough good things about the food and the service here! The place is super small so they are always packed. Sushiko rivals some of the fancier more well known spots I’ve visited in Northern California *cough* Kru *cough*. I drive 60 miles to eat here and don’t plan on stopping any time soon. The only thing that would make this place better is a larger location so we never run the risk of not getting a table :P.“

“I'm only giving this rating because of Vincent, one of the chefs. His care with the food and presentation elevated the meal to experience from decent meal. The size of the sushi pieces were as big a silver dollars and showed off every ingredient. I wish I had taken pictures to show what I mean when I say it was amazing! The flavor was mouth watering (even now). Fresh made yuzu sauce was beyond what I expected in a sushi place. The citrus had a kick that wasn't distracting from the mellow buttery flavor of the salmon. Vincent is an asset to the establishment. He answered all my questions with intelligence, humor, and wit; also honesty. What made the dining experience, odd, was one of the waitresses was staring hard at me. I couldn't understand her expression. I have a blank face most of the time myself so I won't judge but it made me feel like I was doing something she thought was odd. The evening service manager also stared a bit. Odd, but Vincent saved the day with his masterful meal. They would do well to treat him well and keep him on.“
