Probably hit the wrong time for staffing, between lunch and dinner, but the service was terrible.The food was ok, but not great or something you'd go out of your way for.I enjoy a good mole sauce, and this wasn't it, for example.Prices are on the high side given the level of quality.
This is a most pleasant spot to be while in Novato on a sunny day. The garden patio provides a relaxing place to enjoy a delicious meal. Yesterday I had the chilie Rellenos and a Margarita. Los Guitarras is definitely a Novato institution, a longstanding family owned restaurant dedicated to serving the best and making guests welcome as family. Had our association’s December meeting here and it was awesome.
