After a year of eating at various Nick's around the Bay Area, I've decided to upgrade from 3 to 5 stars for the chain overall, and specifically for the Novato location at Vintage Oaks.First the food is really as good as any greek cafe I've been to, and I adore the lamb/beef gyro which i suggest you order with the fries on the side - my preference anyway.The bowls are filling, and a plate is enough for two people - I always share one with my wife if we decide on that. The food was great! For a quick on the go spot, this is a great place! Love their gyros and their Greek fries, which we've had twice now and no complaints. Not the best for a sit down meal, it's more just for a quick bite. Inside it's pretty busy, small, and the tables face the aisle which has a lot of traffic going in and out. I will definitely come back if in the area!
