“My wife and I have made Little Goan our favorite Indian restaurant in Novato. We go almost every time we're in Marin. Sharona and Frankie are super sweet people and very accommodating. We always order an extra meal to take home. It's rare when I find a place where I want to eat s-l-o-w-l-y enough to truly savor the food. Little Goan captures my hedonistic desire to experience spirituality in a spoonVegetarian options: Lots of GF options.“
“This restaurant is a true gem. Nestled in the Montecito Plaza strip mall is this truly authentic, incredibly fresh and delicious Indian culinary excursion. Every dish is uniquely flavored with generous portions and lovely service. Larry and I will be regulars!! Don't miss it!!“
“Artis is probably the best Indian food in Marin county! I love this restaurant and the people that work there. They are all so kind, friendly, and all very attentive. During the holiday season they even put on a community lunch and gave away huge plates of several different items and even had vegetarian and vegan options available! Pretty special thing for a small business to do for their customers and community, especially in this day and age when so many restaurants are struggling. Their restaurant is also nicely put together, has a warm ambiance even though the restaurant is small inside, and have a nice patio area to sit outside when the weather permits it. So many good things to say about this restaurant, the owners, and their staff! This place is and will continue to be one of my go to spots in Marin County!“
“Indian food made and offered with love. Some of the best indian food I've had in any restaurant in the country, made with true love. Chef has decades of global experience and it showed in the flavors and the cooking. We had paneer tikka, daal makhani and ordered two thalis and loved the ability to choose our lentils and curry of choice. The daal makhani was heavenly. The paneer was mind blowing. The breads were soft, freshly made and very filling. We had kheer and rasmalai for dessert and everything was just perfect. Strongly recommend. Service was excellent.“
“I just had Tandoori for lunch. Amazing. It was served on a sizzling platter, chicken, lamb, broccoli, onions, and colorful peppers. It came with a pot of rice and side of curried lentils. I could not eat it all, so now I have a second meal in the fridge. So good!“
“Excellent buffet, beautiful interior. Service was good; always had my water glass filled. Food wasn't more spicy than I could handle -- most of the things were pretty mild -- while still being flavorful. I'm not vegetarian but someone in my party was vegan. There were plentiful options with both meat or vegetables.“
“I absolutely love Taj of Marin! The customer service is just wondeful, waiters are so kind and attentive. I love their vegetarian options. Many to choose from with a fantastic taste. They also offer lunch buffet with affordable prices. Definitely recommend!“
“Nice local Indian restaurant. But of a cafe-like feel but really good food. Onion pakoras were nicely cooked and not oily. Excellent sauces with the lamb tikka masala and chicken coconut curry. Naan was nice and crispy on the outside. Tandoori prawns were a bit overcooked. Service was very friendly and fast. Great place for a quick meal if you are in the mood for Indian.“
“I am not Indian but I’ve worked in an Indian restaurant, I’ve been to India, and I consider myself an Indian food aficionado… this place is the real deal. Probably the best Indian food I’ve had in Marin and definitely better than other parts of the U.S. Everything we had was homemade, including the chutneys, samosas, etc. the achari eggplant was delicious. My only complaints were that the chicken tikka was prepared more like a malai kebab, and the onion kulcha was stuffed with cheese, which I did not really want, but was still good.Vegetarian options: Vegan options as wellDietary restrictions: Many vegan options“
