We came for an early dinner on Easter, our first time here. The owner, Joe, was very welcoming, as was the staff. We had a club sandwich and the pot pie. Both were quite tasty. The pot pie crust was nice and flaky, and the seasoning was just right. The tater tots were crispy and not greasy with good flavor. Haven't been here for years, had the Super Bird sandwich, it's my favorite thing to eat here, and I was not disappointed. Maxine was very nice, and very efficient. She was busy, but we didn't feel rushed, and she came by several times to make sure we were good. She makes a great margarita, and an a better Long Island Ice Tea.

The Bird is a friendly, neighborhood kinda bar/restaurant. They are known for their turkey everything...and the turkey is fabulous. We ordered a turkey dip (turkey salad) with homemade chips and it was so tasty. We also had a burger (not turkey) and a Mama Bird turkey sandwich. Both were excellent. The service is friendly and helpful. It's a great place for an unpretentious meal, where you can also watch the game while you dine.
