Amazing food! Service was great as well. I really good happy hour! Empanadas were good, Limpia, cheesesteak slider and more.
As always, the food was delicious, and the service was superb. The PEI mussels were plump and perfectly cooked, served in a mouthwatering tomato-wine-based sauce, perfect for dipping the grilled bread. The hamachi crudo was delicate and seasoned just right. And the seared salmon had a deliciously crispy skin and soft moist tender flesh. Our server was friendly and professional. He recommended the tiramisu and he was absolutely right!
Both Sunday's we have been for brunch. Food is good, service is very slow and the wait for your check is even slower.

John Ash is an amazing restaurant and absolutely one of the best places to visit in Santa Rosa, California. The food is delicious, well presented with high quality ingredients that are crafted into enjoyable meals. The tuna tartare is excellent, the coq au vin is full of flavor, and the chilled spring pea soup is absolutely amazing. The avocado sourdough toast with a soft poached egg is also a highlight. They have a fantastic wine selection that perfectly complements the menu. The views are beautiful and the restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere. Service is outstanding, with genuinely great hospitality and extremely friendly staff. The entire dining experience feels elegant but comfortable. However, some long-time guests note that the restaurant did away with the tablecloths and the wait staff wears Levi's, which is not up to the standards they set. Prices are in line with, and perhaps slightly below, other establishments of this caliber in the area. Highly recommended.
