“I still recommend but have to say disappointed today in a few items. 1. the coleslaw flavor was fine but now is minced so small it feels like you are eating baby food and tastes bland 2. the cornbeef was surprisingly on the dry side 3. cheesecake totally dry crust and flavor just average and strawberry topping soggy 4. soup was terrific the quality of food seems to be going down and that’s sad“

“I miss this place! I moved away- and can’t find a descent bagel now🫣 I recently drove through Santa Rosa and had to stop in. Though it’s been 7 years the owner recognized me! On my way back through a few days later I stopped and got a bag of bagels for my freezer so I could enjoy the taste of Sonoma valley Bagels! Oh I got their cream cheese too- perfection!“

“Went here for the first time with a friend we both loved our jalapeño bagels with cilantro cream cheese. Nice crispy exterior and not very doughy which I like, lots of jalapeños too. They have a wide variety of different bagel sandwiches. They’re made fresh daily. I bought a couple bagels to go and they were equally excellent. The prices are a little high compared to where I’m from but that’s the Bay Area for you. I would definitely come back again.“

“This place is a nice small place. I absolutely love the coffee here and the people are so sweet. I ordered a coffee one time and while heading out i dropped it and walked back in embarrassed and ordered another. The girl was really nice and made me another on the house saying that these things happen.“

“I've not had any issues here. I enjoy the donuts and the staff is always respectful and courteous when i walk in. Even when it's busy. I wish the banks weren't screwing them with debit card fees. If i have cash, i use it. Most days i don't. I just try to tip more.“

“Nice Hidden Spot with Room for Improvement

Donut Bagel Café is a nice little hidden gem — not overly busy, but there was just enough of a crowd for a short wait, which was actually kind of nice because it showed the place has a steady flow of customers.

The spot itself is cozy, and the prices are fair, especially for what you’d expect from a bagel and donut shop. A great stop if you’re nearby.

That said, the experience felt a little rushed. The girl at the counter was pretty persistent about taking our order, and we didn’t really get the time we needed to fully explore the menu. It felt like she wanted to move us along quickly, and in the end, we settled for something we didn’t really want, just to keep the line moving.

Overall, the place has potential — good atmosphere and decent pricing — but a little more patience at the counter would make a big difference. I’d give it another try, but next time I’ll know what I want before walking in.

“BY FAR THE BESSSSST! I’ve gone to other places before and they are good but this place the first thing I was impressed by is how clean and cozy it looks and felt. Then we were welcomed by the nicest smile a sweet lady! she was so kind as she welcomed us. We then sat down on the couches and she even brought us our sandwiches which we took to go! I’m surprised she wasn’t more busy this places definitely needs more attention. 🤍 Can’t wait to come again!!!!“

“It was a little early for lunch, and still cold from the night, Pinhead Pete and I were heading toward a breakfast joint on 4th when the Pin asks me who Joe is...Joe who I said, and he says My Friend Joe Coffee...who's this Joe guy? I looked him right in the eyes and said...See, ..That's exactly why everyone calls you Pinhead!
Well, we whipped it on in there ..it was right between breakfast and lunch, so I got the egg salad sandwich, and it was Amazing! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆“

“Any of their Bagels with smear (cream cheese) is literally amazing! -I’ll get to that in a minute- Today I got the Trev’s Herban Myth sandwich on a pesto bagel for the first time and I HIGHLY recommend you get it! 🤩 It is one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. As always the service is warm and kind and quick! I go here every so often and have for several years and it never disappoints. 🤤 The bagels are always toasted, and warm, but they are soft and easy to eat with the tiniest bit of crunch and they are GENEROUS with the smear. 10/10 love this place!“
