King of the Roll in Larkspur is a popular sushi restaurant in Marin county, known for its fresh and amazing sushi. Chef John Wayne offers generous portions of the freshest fish at reasonable prices in a cool family atmosphere. Regulars enjoy the BIG Roll and tempura dishes. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor space where customers can watch the bike path traffic, though it may not always be usable due to yellow jackets. The restaurant offers great value on an incredible assortment of rolls, and the food is very fresh and terrific. While the service can be a little slow at times, the restaurant remains a neighborhood gem.
