Consistent and delicious. Margaritas were perfect. I'm not sure what they do to the totopos but they are the best. Mole was terrific. So glad Sam is still behind the bar...he's a tremendous asset to this place.
I would call the food here Faux Mexican. Indeed the sopes were good. But the chicken mole bears no resemblance whatsoever to Mexican mole. The chicken was very tender but the sauce pretty awful. Flan is served covered with whipped cream that appeared to have been sprayed from a can. We were not even shown a substantial vegan menu which we might have chosen had we known about it. Coming back to Marin from the Giants game on Sunday, (we won!) we decided to stop at Flores for an early dinner. Everything about the experience was amazing. The food, the service, and the ambiance was excellent. I am a fan of their carnitas! Cannot wait to come back.
