“Really cute and healthy smoothie shop in a nice shopping center. I ordered a Maca My Day, which I thought was pretty bad, and so they gave me a free replacement of another drink. Very respectable. Wasn’t a big fan of the other smoothie either…But on the bright side, they have fresh delicious vegetarian wraps!“

Urban Remedy Juice Bar & Smoothies • $$
34 Miller Ave, Mill Valley

“Almost always good food, service and smiles.Their menu has changed a lot though and quality has definitely gone down from the good 'ol days when the sizes were exponentially larger and at half the price.I miss Inga's beautiful desserts, panna cotta with blueberry compote, carrot cake, and real slices of pie.I miss their selections being more broad. But all in all, they still manage to have a few things I still buy quite a bit.“

Flour Craft Bakery Bakery • $$

“Time and time again Heather and the team at Flour Craft impress me. They've made every holiday and birthday special for our gluten free family for the last ten years. The cakes, pastries, seasonal varieties and sourdough bread are fantastic. They've redone the store in San Anselmo to be open, modern and welcoming boasting the best ambiance around. I'm grateful that my mom found this place years ago! What sets this bakery apart from it's competitors is their willingness to create unique and delicious varieties, granolas, breads and savory tartines! Can't beat the staff friendliness, store cleanliness, pastry-chef creativity and baked goods consistency.“

Bootjack Wood Fired Pizza • $$
17 Madrona St, Mill Valley

“The pastries are amazing! I’ve only been here for coffee in the morning and have enjoyed everything I’ve tried so far. There’s usually a line then so be warned if you’re planning to grab a coffee and run!I would come here more often if they had some way of allowing customers who are only getting a coffee or just know what they want to get through the line faster. I applaud the staff members who patiently wait while somebody takes a full twelve minutes to order two drinks and two pastries, but it’s a collective waste of time when there’s a line building up outside the door. I wish I could give Bootjack 5 stars since they can’t really choose their clientele, but I’ve left the line twice thinking this is might be an efficiency problem.“

“Looking for a coffee to go in the area we ended up in shoreline coffee shop. As we were walking towards the Cafe we preceived the aromas of the food coming to us and inviting us to stay and eat. The food was good and freshly cooked. It's a traditional breakfast place. It was sunny enough to sit outside. Coffee was good.“

“Friendly staff, clean restaurant/shop, easy parking, fresh and delicious food. My only complaint is they didn't put the price on their menu, making it very difficult to budget. And the food turned out to be pretty pricey given the regular sized portion. -Quinoa Wrap: Quinoa, spinach, jack cheese, feta cheese, black beans and avocado tossed in chipotle dressing, served in a spinach tortilla. I ordered this and it was delicious. It tasted fresh and clean. I could almost feel it nourishing my body with every bite. I'd get this again. The staff also offered us a hot sauce, and I'm so glad we said yes because their hot sauce was good - smoky, spicy, and slightly sweet. It was perfect with their food. - Chipotle Sunrise: Brown rice, cheddar cheese, tomato, avocado and onion tossed in chipotle dressing, served in a spinach tortilla. I didn't eat this. - Quinoa Quesadilla: A blend of Monterey jack and feta cheeses melted, topped and smooshed with quinoa, spinach, black beans, avocado and tossed in chipotle dressing in a spinach tortilla. I didn't eat this, but I imagine it tastes similar to Quinoa Wrap.“

“Outstanding! I visited D'Angelo's with my husband and 4 yo. When we walked in, we're greeted with a friendly smile. The waitress brought over a cup for my daughter. The attentiveness and service was wonderful. I love how family friendly this place is, but at the same time, it could be a perfect date spot. The food was great. We are locals and we are so happy we finally visited D'Angelo's. We will be back very soon!“

“Fast good Mexican. Not really traditional but also not too far off. It is definitely adapted to fit suburban Mexican food tastes. In other words, its not the Mission district but its also not the highly vanilla Mexican food of Baja Fresh. They do push it with burritos like the mango salsa burrito which is a bit funky with its super sweet taste but still pretty good. The best thing on the menu is the chicken taco salad.“

I had a duck leg that was so incredibly tender and my husband had a 9-hour bolognese that he raved about. I’d go back in a heartbeat!“
