About Breadbelly

Breadbelly is a popular restaurant known for its unique and experimental flavor combinations. The menu features a variety of dishes, including mapo tofu focaccia, Kaya toast, and various breakfast sandwiches, such as the biscuit sandwich, which has received high praise for its incredible flavors and textures. Customers appreciate the high-quality, handmade ingredients and the culinary talent displayed in each dish. The blueberry yogurt drink is a must-try.

The restaurant offers a fusion of flavors, with dishes like the walnut shrimp sandwich, which features a nice texture from the walnuts and fresh lettuce. The huckleberry almond cake is a unique and not-too-sweet dessert option, and the fig pastry is also noted for its tastiness. Customers enjoy the Kaya bun and persimmon croissant, as well as the refreshing citrus lassi and the watermelon lychee tea, which is favored over the yuzu Americano for its strong sour and bitter notes.

The atmosphere is suitable for a quick, delicious meal, and the staff is friendly. Service is quick enough despite a frequent line, although the restaurant can be on the pricier side. Customers should be prepared to wait in line and for items to sell out. There are some concerns about the tipping process, especially since most seating is outdoors, and customers grab their own food and buss their own tables.

Delicious food! Great customer service

Ordered a large order from Breadbelly and this is the way to do it -- getting to try so many of their amazing pastries! My friends and I loved the Kaya Bun (I feel like it's a must get), the Ube Tart, and Blueberry Croissant Tart. But honestly, we didn't have one bad thing.

Can't wait to go again soon and enjoy the outside seating at Clement Street on a sunny day.

Oh, and get the Karl the Fog cappucino! I'm usually not a sweet drink person, but it was the perfect...read full review

Excellent neighborhood cafe with creative and tasty fusion drinks and food — largely a locals spot but a great find for visitors to the ascendant scene in the Richmond district
