The Ice Cream Bar

Passed by this place on the way to dinner with my friends, and I realized that I have bookmarked this place for awhile. Upon entering we were greeted by the employees and could request samples to try out their unique ice cream flavors. I sampled the Banana Puddin, but I didn't end up with that one because I didn't think it had enough banana flavor. VERY cute ambiance that brings you back to another time. This classic American ice cream parlor would be the perfect spot for a date or for a treat with some flair. It's authentic and feels untainted. The ice cream itself is good, but I really can't recommend getting anything other than a junior size if you're not sharing. Nice dessert stop after dinner. Long line but it moved fast. I actually had a junior scoop of the salted caramel turtle ice cream. It was very good. I wouldn't say spectacular. But nice flavor and very creamy. My friends had a float and a Sundae. They liked them. I've been here before a few times. I always enjoy the experience, but the seating is always a little weird.
