“The food here is beyond delicious - every taco we had from carnitas, birria, rib eye, maitake mushroom, chicken tinga - was truly incredible. The quesadilla is a big serving and also very tasty. The horchata is creamy and perfectly balanced, and not too sweet as many horchatas tend to be. The mezcal they serve is wonderful as well. The owners are so nice and service is very attentive. Tortillas are lame cheap white GMO tortillas. Boring with extra canola oil to give them flavor.

Lengua is boring
Pastor is boring and I found the reviews over rated.

You have to ask for lime, onion, cilantro, radish and salsa. It is not served on your plate.

My server helped me pick a drink because I usually don't do hot drinks, but it was a cold morning. She was so sweet about it and the drink we landed on was delicious (the pistachio lime really is fantastic, you can really appreciate the complexity of the flavor combination when it's served hot.) I didn't try any of their food, but it smelt very good.

“I came with my family here, very clean place, clean restroom, clean everything, good food. Fast service, but please ladies from the front (customer service) smile, you take care of the customer like robots, next, thank you , next, thank you next. I was looking at every single person that was receiving their orders to make sure that chips are given to some odres or to every order. We order two burritos, one pupusa and twelve tacos. We did not received chips at all. I saw people that purchase tacos , receiving their chips, this wasn’t my case. No one gave us our chips😟“

“This was my mom's favorite place on height but it moved, I thought it closed down. A few weeks ago I saw the name and asked if it was the same one, turns out it is! The Carnitas were just as good as I remember, they crisp them up on the flat iron like they should be!! It was an amazing way to remember my mom while I enjoyed amazing food. Ok I gotta stop or imma cry.“

“This is always our go-to place when we want burritos. The super carnitas burrito and the super spicy pork burrito are the best in the city. Also, the staff is always super friendly. We call in our order ahead, and it's ready in less than 10 minutes for us to pick up. When I first saw the place many years ago, I wasn't so sure about the atmosphere, but now I love it. It seems straight out of a side street in Mexico. I never want to have places like this disappear in San Francisco. I am always happy to support small scale mom-and-pop friendly restaurants. Highly recommended.“
