I grew up in Bernal Heights, went to middle school at Horace Mann, but had never been to Gallardo’s until last week. An old family friend from Jalisco highly recommended Gallardo’s at my Dad’s 75th birthday party so I took Mom and Dad here for a late lunch. We had the Menudo and it did need some more chillis to add more flavor to the food. It is very good other wise , good size portion. They serve with hand made tortillas and plenty of sides. The salsa does have some kick. Overall very good. Only complaint it was cold and rainy day a day they left a back door open that created a cold draft throughout. Had to wear my coat inside.
