Solid neighborhood burritos option. I can’t say it’s going to be listed in the best burritos I’ve had in sf but i go here often as it’s close to where i live and I’ve never been disappointed.
I love this place. Best burritos in town. I’ve eaten there for years. Just be sure if you can’t eat HOT spicey food, Be loud and clear and repeat yourself when fixing your food. Today I got hot sauce in my burro and It’s very hard for me to eat. That is only the 2nd time in 10 years. So I strongly recommend this tacoria. i had to go food, but you can eat in.

Stumbled across El Castillito while in search of the Painted Ladies. The smells and the hustle and bustle from the kitchen is delightful. It is extremely small with limited seating so be prepared to take out or dine during off hours. We ordered the tacos, a burrito and the enchilada platter. I didn’t quite know what to do but the cooks were very pleasant and helpful. Warning the plates were hot! You order directly from the cooks through a window and then pickup and pay.
