“I went there to see if I could eat there, but it was a take-out restaurant.
However, I ordered delicious food and enjoyed it when I got home.
I was grateful that the friendly staff told me about nearby parks where I could eat and explained things well.
There is also a parking lot, so park comfortably.“

“This food is good. I wasn’t expecting it to be that good for some reason but I’m impressed. We had the veggie egg rolls (2 1/2), there was a funny spice added in there that wasn’t familiar nor was it necessary. Green onion pancakes (4.5) Long donut (4/5) it was so fresh, hot and crispy. Sweet chili wings (4), got happy when I seen the jalapeños but there was no kick at all, they were like a basic teriyaki. General tso chicken (4) no kick to them like normal general. Beef & broc (4) shrimp fried rice (4.5). The lady in front gets a little flustered and I thought she had an attitude with me but once the food came out, she gave us a free soda each and a free Long Donut. Def would return!“

“My favorite Chinese food I have ever had. I've traveled all over the country and the world, but nothing has beat harmony. when I go, I get either the beef chow mien, imperial potstickers, duck tea buns, pea shoots, egg rolls, signature beef, signature chicken, and fried rice. So good. Pricey, but real quality ingredients. Friendly staff.“

“The Peking duck was fabulous and juicy! We got a half, which we were surprised how little it was. We should have had a full. You have to reserve the duck before you get there.
We had a meat roll I think it was. It was amazing! My friends mom doesn’t like spicy so we got this roll. Highly recommend! Lots of veggies and excellent sauce!“

“Finally got a chance to check out Mamahuhu on Clement for their famous Pineapple Bao Burger. The Savory Chicken Bao Burger is an absolute beast with crispy, juicy fried chicken coated with killer umami packed seasoning, tucked into a soft, pillowy bao bun toasted so that it holds up without getting soggy. The sauce brings that sweet-savory punch, pickles cut through perfectly which prompted me to demolish it in record time and I'm already plotting the next visit. Hands down one of the best chicken sandwiches around.
Fries were crispy, well-seasoned & hot when they arrived, but nothing special or memorable. They do the job as a side without stealing any thunder from the bao burger.
Vibe is casual and modern, service quick and friendly (even with the Clement Street foot traffic), kind of pricey but fair enough with the high food quality. Street parking on Clement is the usual hunt, circle or grab a spot nearby.
Killer bao burger carries the show, fries play support without drama. Solid choice in the Richmond district lineup. Definitely heading back for more of that chicken goodness.
4.5 stars. Bao burger is the star—don't sleep on it.“

“I only had take-out and delivery but everything was delicious! The pork wonton soup was amazing. I was expecting pork wontons but there were several meaty dumplings (obviously from scratch) with plenty of BBQ pork and veggies. I was sick at the end of my trip and this place got me through it. The combo rice, shrimp noodles, spring rolls, crab rangoons, fried chicken, and soup was the best I've ever had. Three out of six days we ordered Kung Food and were pleasantly delighted every time. There is nothing like this place up in Washington state.“

“Absolutely loved this place! The food was delicious, the service was incredibly efficient, and the restaurant was spotless. Even though we had to wait a bit, it was completely worth it. Every dish we tried was amazing. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. Highly recommend if you’re in San Francisco and craving great Chinese food!“

“I'm just trying places that are supposed to have good hot and sour soup. The one here is vegetarian with strong sour flavor. I like the addition of seafood mushrooms to it. The white pepper flavor is strong. It's pretty good and priced at about $9.50 +tax for a 2 quart container that is not quite full.“

“So good! They have many different combinations of dumpling fillings. We went with the three treasures, and the mushroom & chicken filling, one with soup and one without, they were both so good. The soup that it comes with is filled with seaweed, and a light savory broth. I highly suggest adding vinegar to the broth to bring out the flavor even more. And you make your own dipping sauce at the table for your dumplings as well.
Service was great, and the food came out quickly. Plenty of seating, with wall decorations.“

“California-style Cantonese cuisine! I really like the decoration style here, which always makes me feel better when dining here. The golden lotus chandelier and the gold and silver wire lamp are definitely the best decoration! 👍The pastries here are also worth mentioning! Pineapple buns, wife cakes, black sesame banana cakes with miso sugar!“

“I am obsessed with Mulan Malatang! I love all of their toppings - especially the bamboo and money bag dumplings. The owner is so sweet and it has a very homey vibe. It’s a great place for a solo dinner or with friends. My favorite is the pork bone both, extra spicy. Hits the spot every time!“

“Classic Chinese spot, I don't even need to look at the menu to know what I want, and that is usually the Prawns with Lobster sauce, and Orange Beef with rice 😋👍.. Great food, great prices, be sure to give it a try if you are in the outer Richmond some time.“

“It’s my go-to everytime I’m in SF! Delicious, traditional noodle recipes. It always hits home. I love that most of the customers are long term neighbors, people that might have moved away but always came back to this place for some delicious food and memories!!

“This is a favorite location for seniors nearby especially if you like inexpensive price and large portions according to my auntie’s. It is basically comfort food. If you order family style, it comes with their house soup. We ordered, string beef with beef, salt and pepper pork chop, sweet sauce fried chicken (Omg. Delicious), tofu with beef and clay pot dish with eggplant. Everything was good but my favorite was the sweet sauce fried chicken. Would I come back? Definitely. It also got mom’s stamp of approval..“

“This is my first time trying this place. I arrived at 10 and it wasn't that busy yet. I ordered 4 different types or rice rolls, preserved duck egg congee and soy milk to go for $45. I tried one of the rice rolls and the soy mil before leaving. I enjoyed the food so much! I like how they have a small sauce station where you can add different sauces and sesame seeds.
I can eat rice rolls several times a week. Looks like this will be one of our regular spots!“

“The staff here is fast, even when busy they’re constantly running around taking care of their customers. Now the important part, the food is a 10/10. If you like spicy, they got you covered. But don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be spicy. Definitely coming back.“

“The hidden gem of the inner sunset, better than the place across the street that is always busy and none of the crowd. As a lifelong resident of this neighborhood this is hands down the best Chinese food in the area, probably in the whole city. Thanks for being awesome!“

“If you're in and around Sausalito and want some pretty good Chinese (not the absolute best but good enough), then check this place out. Does get busy at times, but nice for lunch. Food portions are decent, and the staff is super friendly!“

“Classic Chinatown spot that delivers solid, honest Chinese comfort food. We ordered several dishes — a spicy noodle broth loaded with bean sprouts, scallions and chili oil that had real depth; a wonton noodle soup with generously filled dumplings in a clean broth; a sautéed offal dish with red onion and chili that was bold and well-seasoned; and what appeared to be a hot & sour soup with good body. Everything came out hot and fresh. The menu is trilingual (Chinese/English/Vietnamese) with a wide variety at reasonable prices. Service is efficient in true Chinatown style — don't expect pampering, do expect the real deal. A reliable stop if you want to eat well without fuss in the heart of SF's Chinatown.“

The fried chicken is more than perfect. It’s like the chicken I cook at home! It’s so juicy, perfect garlic taste and right amount of seasoning.
I will go here every time I’m in San Francisco, the prices are affordable to anybody.“

“The name is so fitting! King of noods indeed!
I was in SF for some work stuff and had to go there twice because it was that good !
The beef chow fun was the right balance of onions, noods, and meat! The meat was also super tender 😍
The cold beef tendons were really yummy too!
Next time, I need to try some of the greens and heard the dumplings were also very good!
The service was impeccable - the two young gentlemen did an excellent job managing a relatively busy / small place!
Overall highly recommend!“

“I've been a loyal customer for decades (used to be CJs back in the day) and love this place dearly. The pink tablecloths, the hot tea, the charming back patio, the well priced lunch plate options, the classic Chinese American dishes, the jelly belly jellybean jar, the fish tank, everything is perfect. The mushu pork, DJ chow mein, mongolian beef, and string beans are some of my favorite dishes.“

“I simply ordered Mu Shu pork to go. I'll start out by saying the food was great, and instead of the 6 pancakes normally given, I ended up getting 10. Had I known I would have asked for additional plum sauce and gladly paid for it. It was a slow weeknight and the food for 6 to 8 people who were there looked good too. The reason I didn't rate them higher was because of the difficulty getting them to take my order. I first came inside to place my order and the people working there saw me and kept doing whatever they were doing. I stood there for at least 5 to 7 minutes without anyone even acknowledging me. So, I walked out and looked around to figure out where else I could go. I live in the area and knew that there were options. After about 10 minutes I decided to give them another chance. I walked in and once again stood there. This time, within a few minutes, a woman came to help me. I placed my order and was told it would be ready in 17 minutes. Why 17 minutes I have no clue. I came back in 17 minutes and it was already sitting there ready. I will order from them again. I don't give up on small businesses in my area and I'll try another dish.“

“M Pot might be the best hot pot I've tried. Lilly was super welcoming and helpful in explaining some of the less common items on the menu. She won't steer you wrong! We asked for medium and she suggested we try mild first and she was right, it was our medium/hot. Quality and variety of ingredients really stood out from handmade noodles to authentic homemade Chinese desserts. The meat portions were big and the broths were really tasty. It's a la carte but we still ate like it was AYCE and the price reflected that. Next time we we'll order a little less and try some other Lilly recommendations. You won't regret coming here. Also they're open til 10pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends, possibly later, just call.“

“Stopped in for a mango pomelo sago drink and can confirm it is as delicious as everyone else has said here. They use a good type of mango, and the sago and cream topping were creamy and sweet without being too much. It reminded me of a mango lassi!“

“Got a solid spread of things a la carte and really had no misses. I've literally been eating Chinese food my whole life and it was a nice balance between familiar and new (vs. classics on fancy plating or fusion that loses its roots entirely).
We thought the golden coin and firecracker shrimp were the most unique starters, but also loved the beef shin and doupi salad. The charsiu pork jowl was our favorite main; perfectly textured bites with freshness from the paired apple and veg.
Don't sleep on the mango sago sorbet -- I've had great mango sago a thousand times and still couldn't stop eating it (pro tip: dip the mango sago sorbet into the salted cream that comes with the nian gao, which we also enjoyed).“

“The staff was very friendly and the food came out super quick! We ordered the sweet and sour chicken, the eggplant tofu, and the cashew chicken. The sweet and sour chicken was perfectly crispy with the right balance of sweet and sour. The eggplant tofu wasn’t soggy, it had a perfect texture and flavor. The cashews in the cashew chicken was addicting. The portions are also a good size. Would come here again!“
