“Love this place and I would recommend pork and dill dumplings. Very good value. I wish they would offer a dumpling sampler and I'd prefer dishes over plastic containers. We had a dish we didn't like and the owner substituted it, good customer service.“
“We've eaten here many times throughout our 30 years living in the area. There's been may owners & recently when we ordered, food was pretty much as it's always been 'good' ,but not spectacular! Prices have gone sky high over the years, but their food is still just ok,portions as always are very very good for two people,we always have alot of leftovers.I was disappointed though last time I had the chow mein,it was so bland I probably wouldnt order again.“
“The food turned out good even though the wait was a little long. They have good dim sum. The place is on the pricey side for Chinese food. The service was sort of friendly depending on which server you get. The ambiance is casual with a classy feel inside as they have renovated the place. It can get busy for dim sum but dinner time seems to be at a steady pace on the weekends.“
“Nice cozy & quiet place, with good Chinese & Hong Kong flare dishes. Server was very attentive, he even poured our soup in small bowls for my friend & I. It was such a nice gesture. We got Hot & Sour soup, Fan Fried Noodles with Chicken, Seafood Fried Rice & Orange Chicken.I really liked their Hot & Sour soup, it was perfect for cold day remedy. Orange Chicken was delicious definitely had kick to it with jalapenos, my favorite dish. Seafood fried rice was flavor ful.Overall food was amazing & very flavorful, would definitely recommend.“

“Let me start by saying "I love ChowKing"! The restaurant is clean and the menu is simple and easy to understand. For breakfast, the tocino is tasty, and the longganisa is one of the best I have ever had. The lunch and dinner menu provide great options including siomai, noodle soup, sweet and sour chicken bowls, and perfectly cooked fried chicken. ChowKing is my place to grab a quick and reasonable priced meal.“
“It was great delivering here. Every one was nice and prompt. They loaded me immediately. The only reason I gave four stars is because it's tight and crowded. When I was done being loaded I had to wait for the truck in front of me to get loaded, since there's no room to maneuver. I entered in by the sign toward door suite 22, and went around the building to the back to door thirteen. This way I was at the right angle to get loaded and leave.“
“Food is great. Most dishes are traditionally made the right way & the flavor is spot on. My favorite is the snow pea shoots when i feel i need veggies, and my favorite is the tomato beef on pan fried noodles, steamed chicken & rice with ginger sauce. I love the sauce i always ask for extra. The egg flower soup is just right for my dietary needs. I go to the one in San Mateo for work lunch. The waitresses tend to my needs quick & fast if i'm down to a 1/2 hr lunch. My favorite waitress knows my routine so well & takes care of me. A big tip, they remember you for & should treat you better. Sometimes i don't want to wait & grab my own to go to boxes & pack up when i see they are super busy. Im one not to get mad at the restaurant staff. They don't say anything which is great cause i don't want to hear any comments or being smothered. I love it at other restaurants when you are in the middle of eating & talking to your dining friend when they ask you if you need anything. I mean sarcastically "no" dont bother me, really but i like it when you do your job appropriately. You will get a nice tip. Thats me. People who do not know the staff or what to order think that the staff is rude. You feel like they are yelling at you or look at you with no smile but i like the food & thats what i go there for. Its a regular old chinese attitude that goes a long way back. If you go to Sam Wo in chinatown, the funny history about Edsel Ford is that he was a famous waiter for being funny rude & mean to the customers. He made a customer wash the dishes...can you imagine that? Our old chinese attitude was always rude & mean. I dont know why but they think its funny & gets away with it all the time especially in crowded busy areas. Fast service & good food. Thats their style.“
“Its good...the service not so good, you still need to tip them although you get your own food, my kid is tall for her age so they try to charge me for an adult and always give me issues over it.Parking: There is plenty of parking, part of the parking it does flood when it rains badly.“
“What a crazy fusion menu of Chinese and Vietcajun! I would 100% come back here for the cajun xiao long bao. The savory cajun garlic butter broth inside the handwrapped dumpling wrapper... SO GOOD! It was served fresh and you could even see the staff making these by hand. Made to order!KEEP IN MIND: They no longer serve happy hour here - even though it says it in the menu... We got the cucumber salad, which was simple and tasty, but bummed it wasn't discounted LOLThe Vegetable Noodle Soup tasted very hearty and homestyle. I liked the texture of the noodles and the broth was flavorful. A good amount of veggies!“
