“The food here is the best Indian food I have ever had. I have been going here since I was very young and the owner is very nice and friendlyDietary restrictions: They have many vegan and gluten and dairy free dishesKid-friendliness: The staff are very nice and are very kid friendly“
“Sushirrito is a menu choice at Local Kitchens in Mill Valley. The Sushirrito brand is the original sushi burrito. Local Kitchens offers sushi burritos, bowls, and sides. But it's menu is limited to popular items, and doesn't include everything an actual Sushirrito restaurant would offer. I don't usually order Sushirrito at Local Kitchens, because the burrito is a lot of food. But I was in the area last week, so I decided to order the Sumo Crunch and Shrimp Tempura. This was a pickup order, as I always pick up my own food at a Local Kitchens restaurant. I order using the Local Kitchens App, and it will tell me when my order is ready. When I get my food, it's fresh from the kitchen. The Sumo Crunch burrito was really good. It was made with a thin layer of rice, so It was mainly the filling of Shrimp Tempura, Imitation Crab, Cucumbers, Red Tempura Flakes, and Sriracha Aioli. It had a good fresh flavor, and was easy to eat. (Tip: Enjoy your sushi burrito while it's fresh). The Shrimp Tempura is one of my favorite appetizers to order at a Local Kitchens. Since I get my food fresh from the kitchen, my Shrimp Tempura is usually super good and crispy. As expected, they were lightly crisp on the outside, and the shrimp were fresh and moist on the inside. Very tasty with the sriracha aioli dip. If you want to enjoy your food fresh, I suggest you go pick it up yourself.Utensils, napkins, and sauces are available at the counter. Free parking in shopping center lot“
“Overall a great place for takeout or dine in. Love atmosphere and bar area though I tend to do takeout more than eat in. Service has always been good. Great beer selection including Pliny on tap. Great to get takeout on a nice day and got to the square. Only reason I can’t give 5 stars is sometimes inconsistent food quality. I find some items are more consistent like the bahn miKid-friendliness: Kid bento boxes a great option.“
“One of the best dumplings I've tried! The line on weekends lunch wasn't too bad, it was about 30min ish. Everything was just on point! I was shocked to see the XLB to be see through but yet it wouldn't break. My favorite was the mala spicy XLB, the soup was delicious with just a little bit of a kick of the numbing spicy flavor! The spicy red chili dumpling was filled with the nutty flavor of peanut with just a dap of chili oil for the fragrance. Hands down one of the best dumpling places that I wouldn't mind waiting in line for~“
“I could go on and on about this spot. It was fantastic. All around wonderful except there is only 1 bathroom and when it's busy...well don't wait til the last minute to pee or there may be a line??♀️ cannot wait to go back!!!Vegetarian options: Everything we ordered was very well balanced. Proportions we're good for 2 to share depending on how hungry you are I guess, we shared 4 dishes and we're stoked with everything“
“The food here was really good: the Grilled Beef Curry and the Umami Spicy Shrimp stood out for me, while the Pork Larb, Squid with Salted Egg Sauce, and Brussels Sprouts were above average as well. Fried chicken was just ok in terms of flavor, but was really crispy, which I liked. Staff provided good service, atmosphere was good for conversation, and the prices were reasonable. The only downside is that serving sizes were quite small, and my recommendation is to get a good amount of rice to pair with the dishes. 5 out of 5.“
“I grew up in a Chinese restaurant so my bar for any kind of Chinese food is very high. There are rarely ever any Chinese restaurants that I'd return to, never mind feel confident in bringing other people with me... this is one of those rare gems. Not only is the food fantastic, but the service has been really nice. I love this place and would recommend a visit to try any of their items. My favorites are the pan fried pork juicy bao, braised beef noodle soup, green beans, and pig ears. All of their recipes are super authentic.“
“The food was good, but definitely not worth the price tag, with the exception of the uni toast (10/10), the pasta, and the oysters. The steak tartare barely tasted like steak, and nothing other than the uni was worth coming back for. Dessert was pretty good though. Ambiance was also very casual, but not “
“This place is adorable and really hit the spot! Yoyo was SO sweet and even gave me free mushroom soup and 2 cookies!!Pros: I really enjoyed meeting Yoyo. $19 for a bento box and bubble tea is a good value, and the meal was satisfying and filling with a lot of variety. I love the colorful, cheery feel inside as well.Cons: The food is 3.5-4 stars, but I’m giving 5 stars for the really kind people who work there and the vibe! The soup was a bit too salty for my taste, and I wish the tuna steak was more rare and had less pepper on it/had more interesting flavoring. It was encrusted with black pepper and salt. I ordered seaweed salad in my Bento box, but got regular salad; salad was good though, so not an issue.I would like to see a few more healthy and vegetarian options here. Overall, I loved the feel of this place and the people running it, so I’ll definitely be back to try more options. Wish I lived closer so I could come here more often!Vegetarian options: I really appreciated that they did not charge extra for oat milk instead of dairy; many places upcharge a lot for this. Otherwise, it is mostly fish and meat centered and vegetarian options are unfortunately limited. I wish they would add veggie gyoza (currently only chicken), a tofu sandwich, and a few other veggie options.“
“There is something magical about fresh warm bread and cold picked vegetables. I got teriyaki chicken which was delicious. Also tried the bbq pork which was pretty good. Unlike some bahn mi places they didn't overdo the sauces. Will be back! It's a perfect meal after a hike.“
