Had a great dinner with my mother tonight!!! It was the first time I had sushi and it was the California roll. I love the taste. The service was highly professional. Being here you got to love an authentic Japanese ambiance. Can't wait to eat here again!!!
Samurai is our favorite sushi spot in Marin! My fiancé and I frequent go. Every time we come in the staff behind the sushi counter welcome us and say goodbye. Yes they are packed, understandably, and it's also a small restaurant. The Stinson Maki roll is something we order every time! I highly recommend it. We arrived around 5:30 PM on a Saturday evening, and within the next hour, nearly every table in the restaurant was occupied! Our waiter was exceptionally polite and patient, answering numerous questions we had about the menu. After hiking the Wolf Ridge Trail, we were quite hungry and looking for something healthy and nourishing. We ended up ordering the tempura udon and the chicken nabe.
