He sells Mitchell's as well as Bud's ice cream. He makes excellent sandwiches at an unbelievable price, as well. I always make it a point to stop by Miyako when I am in the Fillmore. His shop is a neighborhood gem, and that's putting it lightly. He's a Godsend. I love to support mom & pop businesses. He's one of a kind. I also ❤️❤️❤️ the fact that he has bowls filled with candy for sale. He also sells cigarettes (rebel! ?). I love real people and Tom is just about as real as real gets. “I've had the Sea Salt Caramel which was good but the Cornflake cookies w/ Marionberry jam is my favorite and don't forget the waffle cone.The Double Vanilla was a let down. I was expecting ultimate vanilla bean flavor since that's what was advertised but there was barely any flavor at all. The guy at the counter was so accommodating with our group of 5, patiently letting us sample a wide range of the flavors.I was very pleased with my kid’s scoop of matcha! The matcha was fantastic - you could really taste the slightly bitter graininess of the matcha. As another option, you can also get a split scoop of two flavors with a single, which is pretty nice.The only slight downside was parking, though after some circling through neighborhood streets, we were able to find some street parking. Today I was craving a sandwich and even saw a few posts about sandwiches on social media today, so I decided to stop in Marina Submarine. I've never tried a tuna melt, but it was raining today and it was calling my name. Not only was this tuna melt AMAZING, but it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! It's really awesome to try something for the first time and be blown out of the water! The jalapeño on this sandwich gave it a nice subtle heat and added layer of flavor. Shoutout to Yelp for helping me find this hidden gem, and yes, it is pretty hidden! It's tucked away down an alley you might not think to venture down unless you know what you're looking for. I got a small (which is actually pretty big) half chocolate soft serve with French custard and Oreos on top and it was exactly what my heart, mouth, and stomach had been craving. People start piling up at 6:00 in the afternoon and if you go after 8:00 at night, the line has already gone down. “Nice little self-service frozen yogurt shop where you can customize your own frozen treat . There are three frozen yogurt machines here with two flavors each. At the time we went there was Strawberry Sorbet, Italian Tart, peanut butter, chocolate, vanilla, and another that ran out. The condiment section had lots of sweet toppings from candies, fresh fruits, and bobbas that you can put into your creation. The shop is really small but modern looking and clean. There is nice seating outside with benches and planters and if you go at night the string lights add a wonderful atmosphere to a night out.“

“My daughter wanted a hello kitty ice cream cake, so we looked for one and couldn’t find one and to order a custom one would be over 100 for 10 kids, we went to basking looked through their cakes online and picked a red heart one. Then I thought I’ll just tell them not to add sprinkles I’ll do it myself I’ll buy some hello kitty ones from micheals and boom hello kitty cake, let me tell you I went to order and the girl said I’ll have the cake decorators call you, she did, I told her I had sprinkles and she said she could put them on, I went in and well she took all my ideas, changed the color, added the bow and made a beautiful cake, im so grateful, my daughter was so happy!!!“
