“Very good. I'm not really a fan of Chinese food but my son asked it was his birthday and the place we usually order from was closed. I have to admit it was really good. I ordered chicken chow mein, fried rice, beef broccoli, sweet sour pork, sesame chicken, and gyoza. Everything was delicious hot fresh flavorful and quick. Keep n mind this was the 4th of July, they were open and the guy who took my order was really nice and attentive. This will be my new spot“

“We met up here for breakfast and we were happy we did. We arrived as they opened. We learned that they start serving mariscos after 9am. We had chiliquiles verdes and machaca con huevos. Both plates were delicious. The chiliquiles had a small kick (spice) to it, which I loved. Homemade tortillas came with the machaca. We also had the agua de jaimica, which was good. Service was great and ambiance was great as well. We'd definitely come back.“

“I’d gatekeep this place, if I was evil. Fantastic establishment. Oysters are sourced for flavor and not for brand; I’d say they have the best selection in the local area. Food is cooked to perfection and with care. Recipes are Californian, except for - and don’t sleep on - their Buffalo (NY) options such as the fleck and the wings. Excellent stuff. Service is chill and wonderful backyard.“

“Wow! This place is amazing! I'm extremely picky about my Mexican food. As someone that grew up on authentic food from michoacan, it's very difficult for me to find decent Mexican food. This place exceeded my expectations by a long shot! The tortilla was fire, the salsas were fire, the meats/seafood was fire! The fish and shrimp tacos tasted like the ones I had in Ensenada growing up! The service was absolutely outstanding. Very friendly, and extremely attentive! This will absolutely be one of my go-to's!“

“Walk 10 minutes from MacArthur BART and you’ll find paradise in the form of a wine bar. Zach (head chef) and Emilio (line cook) are formerly of Verjus in San Francisco, and let’s just say we followed them across the bridge for a reason. Their expertise and attention to detail are evident in every bite — or sip! ;) On top of this, the service is impeccable. Our waiter, Nico, was a real gem! Thank God he moved from SoCal! “Small little cocina tucked around the back of a gas station in a small neighborhood. Had a nice outdoor seating area. The hostess was incredibly kind and friendly. Ordered the tuna melt and garlic fries, and wow, was it amazing. There was a steady stream of take out and dine in customers, so we could tell it was a popular local spot. We wish we lived locally and we'd eat here more. The menu has many delicious options for tacos &, burritos. Oh, the michelado was 👌🏽 We had gone for a big hike in the area and the portions were perfect.“

“They have individual cooking pots so that each person can get their own broth to cook in which is great when your party likes different spice levels. They provide a good variety of vegetables and mushrooms and choices for sides including vegetables and traditional Chinese hotpot meats like tripe. The pumpkin worked really well.
The steaks were fresh and very thin so easy to cook. The wagu was very fatty, but the menu did say 40% fat. The chuck was perfect to american tastes.“

“Yesterday, my sister and I had the BEST table at the Iconic Spinnaker Seafood Restaurant in Sausalito - the at table at the far corner facing San Francisco! WOW - What a beautiful and clear day, with just a 'hint' of fog over the Golden Gate Bridge to the ocean side. The food was Fabulous - mine was a 'classic' "Crab Louie," with lots and lots of wonderful crab, and Tiramisu for dessert! Our servers were Alex and Francisco ("Francisco:))" who attended to our every need - even politely and notably giving extra time, as I was Determined to enjoy EVERY bite of my more than delicious, Crab Louie!! With a menu that is FULL of Classic Bay Area Seafood offerings, an Iconic setting and ambiance, and Incredible view of San Francisco Bay, Golden Gate Bridge and The City, I would change nothing about my visit! “Does someone who has been in Berkeley for a long time this is one of like the places I feel is a spot that if you've been in the area this will be a place you're probably going to visit. But ultimately this is a spot where me and my family for like to come for some smoothies or small snack. My mom would rather go here then to a place like Jamba Juice because of just how good it is also the location is great it feels Homey the people are very personable. Especially if they remember you because if they remember you they'll know exactly what you want every time when they see you.

And ultimately the reason why I'm finally leaving a review is quite simply we came to their place right when they were about to start closing just wanting some smoothies and they were able to make us some and they got my mom's order just a little wrong because she didn't want something in her smoothie they went out of their way at their closing time to not only make her one smoothie because she said she wouldn't even be able to completely finish the customary one they're working but another just because she talked about possibly splitting it with my little sister. The people that work there deserve this good review and I hope that they keep thriving.

“I’m really happy you guys reopened but I’m upset. The macaroni salad is my favorite thing about this place. I don’t know who chaged the recipe but Change it back immediately or make it right. Too watery and too tangy. Tastes like Mayo soup.

“Possibly the best burrito I've ever had. I have eaten thousands of burritos and have a few favorite spots so I'm biased to my favorite spots and ready to be dissapointed when I try new ones. This burrito was perfection. It was huge and flavorful. The ratio of all the ingredients was perfect. Every ingredient from the tortilla, to the cheese, to the meat, to the rice was delicious and shined on its own. Put it all together and I was very pleasantly surprised and highly recommend this establishment. Service was attentive and friendly. Hibiscus Agua fresca was very refreshing.“

“Good authentic Japanese cuisine! Had the tempura udon, beef teriyaki set and double salmon roll. Salmon tasted especially delicious.

Service was great, they accommodated for a party of 8 without reservation with about a 15 minute wait (friday dinner, 6pm). There is a physical waiting list upon arrival, staff was efficient and kind despite the large group inconvenience.

“came here for lunch after a local friend kept telling me i had to try it. the burrito was solid, really good flavors and decent portions for the price. i liked that they had plenty of vegetarian options too which is always a win. the only thing is the seating area is pretty cramped and it was hard to find a spot during the rush. also my order took a little longer than i expected but it was worth the wait honestly. id come back if im in the area and craving something quick.“

Gypsy's does great meals at low prices and they give you a TON of food. Door Dash or in person, this place always hits. “We had pani puri, dahi puri, wai wai sadeko, and the goat thali, and everything was absolutely delicious. The pani puri was fresh and flavorful, the dahi puri was perfectly balanced and creamy, and the wai wai sadeko had the right amount of spice and tang. The goat thali was the highlight rich in flavor, well-cooked, and very satisfying. Overall, the food tasted authentic and fresh, and the experience was excellent. Highly recommend this place.
