😀First visit here after years of walking past it. The veggie combo and meat combo platters were among the best I've had at Berkeley and Oakland's many great Ethiopian restaurants. Service was very fast and friendly and outdoor back-patio was peaceful. I will be back soon and often.
A favorite each time I’m in town❤️❤️❤️ lunch today-meat platter was excellent and didn’t disappoint! The service was awesome and the day was perfect for an outdoor dining experience! Still enjoying my leftovers!
Love this place! One of our favorites in the area because the flavors of each individual dishes are distinct, home-style, and clean-tasting; not too oily, which I prefer.
I took a star off because the last time we came in July 2026 the portions felt a little small. We ordered two veggie combos, one meat combo, and one mushroom tibs.
They encouraged us to combine the veggie combos, and it came in a large plate but the portions (and plate size) were clearly smaller...read full review
